he could have increased the number of ICU beds, sent home test kits for free to every american, sent real n95 masks for free to every american, paid people to stay home, overturned the CDC's recomendation to cut quarantine procedure from 10 days to 5 days based on the whims of american CEO's to keep people working, shut down the schools which are opening tomorrow. plenty to be done. it's more important to them that we continue to work and make them money. it's as clear as day. look at US/France/UK's infection numbers and compare them with Asia's numbers. hundreds of thousands versus damn near non existent cases.

ICU beds and associated equipment & properly trained folks (remember them? the over-worked folks about to quit?) to work them are not just lying around in stock, nor are there uncounted millions of masks floating around doing nothing. i agree with your complaint about lowering number of quarantine days, AND lack of masks at county health departments as well, to be honest. probably about to go back into quarantine myself. found out last night that my wifes kin in Kentucky have both gotten sick (not bad, but sick) and tested positive for the virus since our trip to Louisiana for 12 days. they are both elderly (and vaccinated, but no booster yet), one nearly bedridden to start with, neither in best of shape. we have appointments for testing this afternoon...i can't WAIT for them to shove that giant q-tip through my brain in search of the interior of my skull again...
