I thought I read the US gov pays Mexico to do that?. What I don't get is why Mexico allows migrants to enter their country without vetting or similar procedures as the USA?. If any country has an open border its Mexico

I'm sure the US gov could put a stop to it if they cared as much as they say. All I hear lately from the GOP is about the border. Tell Mexico to stop people on their border or we won't give them $$ anymore. Let see how fast they close their border. The biggest prob I see is other countries not doing anything to stop that flow.

i read about it years ago. basically mexico is so corrupt they just send people through the country up to the US so they don't have to deal with it themselves. i'll see if i can find the article im trying to think of. google results are all full of the most recent border stuff. the article i'm referencing is some years old now.

What many redhats don’t understand re:”the wall” is if someone from Mexico has a drivers license or a passport, they can drive into the US, much the same way as a US citizen with a drivers license or a passport can simply drive into Mexico or Canada. The border is rather porous to anyone with a car or truck.
There’s no reason for a wall when anyone can simply drive in.
