Let's just say it went that way, the country split. I think the reds would quickly find that they had inadequate funding to make it without handouts. At this point they would likely attempt to take by force from blue states. Or, they would come just to get the benefits that would be unearned.
Or the fed could just invent more money..You know like how theyve been doing for the last fifty years.

1) It details Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s delivery of internal polling data to Russian intel Constantine Kilimnik on key swing states, as well as the campaigns strategy against Clinton.
The committee’s report characterized Manafort’s interaction with Kilimnik as a “Grave counterintelligence threat”.
2) The committee found Putin was personally behind the hack and leak of Democratic Party emails that were released thru Wikileaks.
3) The Trump campaign asked for advanced notice of the leaks and crafted public relations strategy’s around them, and even encouraged “further theft of information and continued leaks”.

You do realize their is no such thing as a blue state. Blue cities, and blue counties sure. The rural areas which conveniently produce the vast majority of the food, exist in every state in the nation. The central valley of California is entirely conservative. Curiously enough pre exodus California was home to the largest population of conservatives in the nation. Hopefully we don't get trapped behind enemy lines, as the saying goes.
Ironically, every time the left gets tyrannical people starve on a mass scale. An estimated 2.5 million people will starve worldwide as a consequence of the lefts insistence on authoritarian ineffective lockdowns during Covid19.
You could look forward to high tarrifs on food, and don't think for a second foreign countries won't increase prices to match.
I honestly never thought I could imagine a world where aa peaceful separation of states was the best available option. I stand corrected. We don't live in the same country anymore. We don't have the same guiding foundational principles anymore.
I would have never thought previously liberal people would be gleefully celebrating the censorship of people who hold opposing beliefs.
At this point if can be done peacefully, it's probably the least shitty path forward.

They hacked the RNC, too. That's why all the GOP are doing Putin's work of spreading FUD and misinformation. These assholes downplayed covid for months, refused to take covid tests before debates then ran to the front of the line for the vaccine before essential workers, nurses and doctors.
As soon as they fall out of line the RNC emails get dumped.
Let's not forget the recorded conversation between Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan.
McCarthy said: “There’s …there’s two people, I think, Putin pays: [California Representative Dana] Rohrabacher and Trump … [laughter] … swear to God.”
Speaker Paul Ryan immediately responded: “This is an off-the-record … [laughter] … NO LEAKS … [laughter] … alright?!”
