JH pretty good for stealth, I'm not overly impressed with the blue mystic, good name, not a great plant. Too sensitive!

It's now day 28 and its going great, I really like this strain. The smell is pretty strong by this point, lemony and a little spicy on some plants. Check it out to see the saga unfold...I'll be back in a few months with a smoke report.

I always return here again and again to read about Jock Horror. It's kind of strange but I really miss this strain...
Aargh I can't wait to enjoy it again! (I hope it will be soon, hahah.)

so do I ....next time I buy seeds, Jack will be on the list for sure...I'd like to grow it again.

variety is good, but I'll probably buy 2 packs each of JH and Ice...then again, the WW had strong potency and I'd like to havea go at Rhino and maybe a Skunk variety?? lol

I just picked jock up. She doesn't like too much nitrogen, but isn't sensitive to too much cal/mag. She is easy to grow and connoisseur smoke. I think I will keep her around when I am feeling lazy for easy returns.

I harvested mine around 80 days when the trichs were 80% cloudy 20% clear. I also grew some White Rhino.

Overall I was dissapointed with the overall variance, nutrient problems, and quality of genetics. A couple of plants would be enjoying the nutrients fine, and the rest would be burning, curling, fading, you name it at one point or another.. There's nothing that could satisfy them. Like look at it this way, if you have 5 females, and ALL are different, then they really aren't the same plant. So I really dont know what I'm growing!

You can see my gallery for my 6 month start to finish grow of Jack Horror. Anything that looks smaller is the white Rino. The bud pic was the White Rhino. Each plant yeilded a bit over 2 ounces considering Arjans haze over 4 months yeilding half pound a plant.

Despite efforts to curb 'stoniness' in the Jack Horror, the stone is still closterphobic and stoney.

My bro just came back from Amsterdam 11 hours ago and smoked 4 puffs of Super Silver Haze at Damperking during a lay over. He basically started tripping but in an energetic, clear sort of way. Very introspective, energetic, body rushing up to his head, lots of thoughts, small visuals, almost radar like sound sensory. He walked around Amsterdam stoned alone and just explored it himself. He can describe the difference of an Amsterdam Haze and the difference between what we *think* is an 'up high' from Jack Horror which compartively is very stoney, paranoid, and couch lock.

After hearing the differences, I'm going to consider Arjan's Haze (cause it's cheap and fem). I've read a couple of times and saw on pottv that basically all the Hazes over there are pretty much all the same these days no matter where you go.

Plants will take longer to finish if they do not receive ideal conditions.....a 60 day flowerer can take 80 days if things are not right....this might be due to several compounding reasons eg a slightly higher than ideal pH level, slightly wetter soil than ideal, too much ferts, insufficient vegging time for seedlings etc etc

The plants weren't suffering really bad, but sure flowering was slow. I presexed the plants and then put them into flowering. One had black spots, another had burns, another would be fine, and on and on. Just awful genetics.

A couplel of plants did ok.. one plant you couldn't fase it. Always green leaves, always did well.

I micromanaged the PH, light, all that on a dialy basis when I was unemployed 2 years ago (and I am again as of 2 weeks ago so time to start another batch hehe).

A couple people said I wasn't doing anythning wrong.. the genetics were just poor.

Trust me, I bought 2 brands of PH meteres, two EC meters. Cleaners, filters, meters of all kinds, you name it. If I would have cloned the good plants I'm sure they would have grown fine.

The trichs were abouts 80 milky, 20 clear. No amber. I'm not sure If I foctored in the drying in the 80 days. The white whino I picked earlier than the rest.

Even then, the high is still stoney and couchlock on both plants COMPARED to Super Silver Haze at Damperking.

My bro is a very casual smoker. VERY casual. I'm also a very casual smoker.

He described our Jack Horrer as a closterphobic stoninesss.. heavy. tightness in the chest.. uncomfortable.. paranoid..

When he just came back from Amsterdam. He bought a Super Silver Haze pre rolled joint for 3 Euro's at Damperking. He sat down at a table and eveyrone was Dutch. The place was full and there was a seat and it was common to have people just come and sit and chat so he asked if he could sit down with them. People asked where he was from and he said Canada. So he lit up and took some puffs. He's not a smoker so could only handle 2 puffs without coughing. 4 puffs in total. Just puffs from the J. No bong hits or anything. So he put it out and thought it wasn't working. He wated a good 10 min or so and was getting ready to leave.

Then boom his body gets warm and a rush of buzzing clarity and energy rushed to his head and his mind starts to swim. He fealt like his thighs and legs al warm and an upward energy 'moving' from his legs up to his head then higher over his head. His vision sharpened and he began to focus sharply on things and rest of his vision was 'hazed' out. He particulary noted that his audible senses where extremely hightened. Almost like super hearing. Anything he looked at no matter how far he could hear crystal clear.

The high was so clear, so strong, and the weed so dank (on his newb head) that his brain processed only whatever he was directly focusing on. So he could focus in someone talking accorss the room, watch their mouths move, hear them clearly.

He got all happy and excited and was energised to go outside. It was about +5 over there and he walked around the street. He said it was amazing seing Amsterdam stoned. Bycicles everywhere, sounds of bells, people walking, no cars. Just wandering around stoned alone. He did have som visuals if he focused in on a shape for long enough it would twist into something else. He could hear a saxiphone playing way in the backround and went looking for it. It really was 'introspective' for him. He got lost walking around for 2 hours and then went a resturaunt, ate, sobered up, then found a bus back to his hotel hehe... then back on the plane.

He fealt no chest tightness, no paranoia, no stoniness and he said the experience was way, way, WAY better than the Jack Horror we grew. Despite the fact I haven't seen him in 6 months being away, his first and most best part of that trip is smoking the Super Silver Haze. He said it was an 'experience'.

Now the Jack Horror? He said that was just more couchlock, closterphobic weed. We pretty much sat there and listened to music and got bored and talked and talked about how we were feeling. Very stoney, closterphobic, slow motion, downer. I still have that in the jars. The top quality top colas are 2 year cured and not being smoked becuase the buzz is too stoney and 'not fun' for us. Too stoney. These were from Nirvana seeds.

So now I need to grow out some Haze. I can top and LST one plant. Do 12/12 from seed and over 4 months that should cover the whole grow area. No amber triches. Less cloudy. See what happens I guess? I'm trying to pick out a Sativa.. Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 cannabis cup winner. Super Silver Haze, Amnesia Haze, Nevilles Haze?

I want to experience a Haze directly from a dutch breeder and order seeds soon. I can't decide though. The problem is, everybody says their weed is dank and great.

My Jock Horror is not a great weed for me. Neither is the White Rhino.

I'm relatively new to growing and I plan on growing some Jock Horror-specifically from Nirvana seeds, I live in the U.S. so I'm thinking about getting seeds sent here and getting kind of paranoid, any recommendations from people to get some safe seeds at my doorstep? Jock Horror- from nirvana had 2 phenos, a skunky one, one that looked like the lemon pheno in pics posted in this thread. Has that strong spice in them, the skunky one was my favorite with the heavyiest hardest hitting stone definately not one to goto work on- all red eyed and baked- but sativa with it too . The lemon pheno- wasnt lemony for me just slight spicy taste tinier crystals and alot more sativa high, with some wondering effects. Buds looked exactly the same as lemon pheno pics in this thread.

The skunky pheno was chunkier and danker, damm nice smoke and high- keeper for sure.Bud pics very similar as well again.

recommended for sure , Mouth is watering thinking about it. Last bag just smoked of the sativa pheno. Didnt think it had teh potency for a bit with this pheno but after going to a bubblegum, and hashplant and then comparing I was like oh ya it still pretty good .

Dont diss nirvana for shiz , its little like playing the lotto, but alot of wicked strains for wicked prices proven!. Try the WW also a keeper. Sure beats playing the lotto at higher prices. But main it rocks when u get a keeper lol .

jack isnt the main medicinal choice of MJ in amstidam for nuttin.

im growing a strain of the jock and i absolutely love the results so far. im about 4 weeks from harvest and the smell is a slight mix of stinky fruit with a hazy lemon finish. i banzaied it before flower and im quite surprised with the yield amount so far. def worth the purchase

I always thought that Nirvana's Jock is an attempt to reproduce Jack Herer, i.e. (NL x Haze) x (Skunk x Haze), and NOT Jack Herer x Skunk.
Anyways, a good haze hybrid with happy high and no paranoia.

I had three different phenos and the best one tasted of oranges - really tasted great after two months in the jar. nice high - clear and creative, lots of laughs and way high ceiling. Really good pot.

I will grow it again for sure.
