Interesting questions, @pipeline. What do you think?Tell me, where do you stand on the teaching of Muhammad? Of the Quran? Were you aware that Islam's God and the Christian God were one in the same?

anything written by men will have errors. the bible has been edited by men with objectives of their own for centuries, and there were entire sections deleted long ago. interpreting the original writings is ripe for error as well. notably, the bit about "thou shalt not kill" has been shown by scholars to actually have meant "thou shalt not commit murder", but i doubt that there will be a revision. just a wee diff in meaning for practical purposes. i'm going to find a Jeffersonian Bible, myself. it takes out all of the miracles & focuses on Jesus as a teacher and man of morals that did not lean on God or miracles.anyone who says the bible is infallible, or without error is just gullible.
very observant, and sadly, fitting for the times we live in.You don't have to stand FOR anything if you convince the rubes that the OTHERS are sub-human.
