The Lamb of God

Philip and Nathanael

Must a person believe Jesus is God to enter heaven?
try reading the gospels of jesus christ to understand the christian belief system . whether you believe or not is irrelevent buzz.

some creeds do, not all . and it is the same within the creeds/religions. people, religious or not, left/right, are not monolithic blocks of identical beings that those who try to control them wish they were. dissent is everywhere, on all sides of everything. witness the Methodist church about to split asunder because many patriarchal dinosaurs (male AND female) hate women in the pulpit or serving as church officials. much strain is also being applied by acceptance (or not) of LGBTQ worshippers. they think Jesus was wrong about "hate the sin (if indeed one is present) but love the sinner". they enjoy nothing more than having some victim class to hate and look down upon so they can feel "superior"... quite similar to (and intermingled with) white supremacists.
I have questions, if we started with adam and eve, aren’t we a bunch of inbred people, where did black people come from, asians. Why do they think they can absolve their sins with a confession do they know about Karma. Why do they believe their way is the only way? I have many more but to me it makes no sense…
not many take the Bible literally word for word as truth, even in mainstream religions. lots SAY that they do, but i suspect doubts plague all but a few. i'm looking for a Jeffersonian Bible. he tossed all of the miracles & begetting & kept only the moral lessons from Jesus's teachings on how to be a better person.
