Seems kinda funny they call them beer cups... what with those being so small.
I too use the red "milk" cups.

BOG sounds good etc, but too expensive for me to buy.
Now if it was pure something or other... then I wouldn't mind paying so much.

When was the last time red cups came with the keg? LOL

We use 32 oz cups here. Those little ones seem to leak or something, never seem to be able to get a full glass ;)

So far so good

So far so good

They lived! This is day six since potting them. I am still monkeying with how much water to add. First I think I watered too much, then maybe not enough? But, I guess they are growing and looking ok so I must be doing something right besides over thinking.

Dont water until the first few inches is dry and the cups are very light. Overwatering is just as bad as underwatering. If you already know that then disregard. Good luck on the grow Jenna

Potting Up and Nutrient Question?

Potting Up and Nutrient Question?

Hiya!

On their 18th birthday, the little ones left the nest.. or the red beer cups anyway and got themselves some new digs. I potted these little darlins up into 1 gallon pots cuz I don't want to wreck my nails doing too much transplanting. Medium is peat moss, dolomite lime, bloodmeal, perilite, and bone meal.

Filled the pots about 1/2 way and moistened the soil. Added Mycorrhiza and then the plants and more unsoil. I mixed a bit of Super B+ and Bat Guano to the water and put them in the new veg cab. Here are some pics.

One of the plants has some brown spots on it (see pic). Back to the faqs.. k, to me it could be a deficiency of potassium or maybe magnesium? First I thought maybe it was a light burn but the top leaves aren't effected so I ruled that out. Am I on the right track? Is it too soon to smoke em? :biglaugh:

If its a nutrient deficiency, maybe transplanting it will take care of the trouble or should I give it some epsom salts? Should I wait and see if it clears up now that they are in their new homes?

LOL!! You asked and answered your own question in the last paragraph :biglaugh:
Its a mag def.....and 1/4tsp a gal of Epsom salt should do them fine. It will not ever cure the leafs effected but will keep the others from being harmed.

They will be much happier with more feet room. :canabis:

Thanks!

Thanks!

So the next time I water.. about 2 days time, I should add the epsom salts?
