hiya Captain Jack, Sackoweed, Growdoc

Thanks for the props! I don't know whether its a tressilling pheno or not. Captain now I gotta "google" :chin: but I'll look into it. Plants were in a 5 x 4 flower room and probably a bit crowded. Since starting this new strain jim dandy x bitchin blue, I wanted to get to know the taste of one of the parent strains so I could compare the smoke. 8 grams keeps me humble. My BCHP will hopefully explode with mega mondo bud and I can redeem myself.

I got a couple of nice gifts yesterday. Dano brought home the sun. (a 600!) means we can raise the canopy and hopefully not burn the crap out of our flowering friends. AND cal-max. Do you think its normal for a gal to get excited over a new light and cal-max? I think I've opened up a whole new window for christmas gifts. hmmm, does this mean no perfume? Also looking for a good potassium nute. Any ideas?

The BCHP are doing fine. One thing I've noticed is that the leaves look a bit clawed. This isn't because of any def.. its just the way the plant is. Once I stopped fixing it, it's very healthy.

K u say? :D

 in my limited experience........
dry-jersey greensand
for feedings try to find liquid potash, looking to try some my damn self

also buy stock in maxicrop kelp if u haven't already

at least get the kelp, even if it's not maxicrop brand,
if you don't have any in your 'ganic line-up yet.
(the proof is on the back of virtually any commercially available "organic" 'quid fert, most contain at least some ascophyllum nodosum)

growdoc, isn't peruvian seabird guano high N?????

hi hi hi! thanks for stopping by ppl!

dc105.. nice godbud!!

this is gonna be a looonnnggg post cuz i got lots to tell you's!

First off..

Smoke Report for J. Wakeford..

The taste was less than spectacular.. had a kinda piney bite to it? The smell is pretty woodsy... not a good woodsy? Does this make sense? LOL.. This is definately a plant you grow for the high.. and its a total head high. I have a lower tolerance than Dano so I used him as a guinea pig just cause I don't really trust my own results yet... anyhow, we both agree that its a good solid high. Dano still hasn't found the ceiling on this one. This one hit me right in the forehead... before too long my eyes felt lighter in my head and I could breathe easier.. kinda de-stressed me when i didn't realize i was stressed. On Wakeford, I figured out how to solve world hunger, how to get mj legalized globally, and planned my life in detail for the next ten years but UNFORTUNATELY had some bd X um a while later and forgot every damn solution and plan.

Wanna see the HG?

Here she is last night

The BCHP's are really bushing out now. It took me a while to figure out these plants nute wise. i found that the new leaves look almost wilty and clawed but it works itself out if you give it some time and not attack with nutes. It tends to have purple stems too but other than those two visuals, its an easy plant to maintain. I end up adding nutes about every second or third watering... sometime a bit of cal-max but for the most part, the Hawaiian Goddess and the BCHP's are not too demanding nute-wise.

The Rosetta stone is in bigger pots now. Growin like weeds!

The rosetta stone parentage?

Here's what I found at Dr. Chronics by Dreamweaver (I think) Spice Bros..

"I found RS to have 2 pheno types, A:Sativa ,pine tree shaped bud B:Indica ,club headed shaped buds. The Sativa pheno seems to take a week longer to fill in compared to the indica pheno . I was extremely impressed with the hardiness of the strain and it's never die attitude. Rosetta Stone is low-odor. with a wonderful sweet smell and a sharp/sweet hint of spice. The buds are very hard and very sticky fruity smelling, perfectly balanced Sativa/Indica hybrid. A definite keeper in any connoisseur?s garden. Rosetta Stone is a fast-flowering plant with heavy resin production and average yield. It clones easily and a (very) easy plant to grow. It was created by pollinating a unique Ginger-Ale /Cafe Girl female (that produces super thick nuggets ) then crossed with a very reliable resin-enhancing father.

Taste: greasy ginger/herb, very smooth smoke
High: Clear head dominated high with no paranoid rush

Specifications: ~Flowering time should be around 50-55 days"

oh, and here is the Jim Dandy X Bitchin Blue

gonna germ killa queen V2 tonight just for chuckles.

HI Jenna

this is such wonderful thread that Ive just found.
IC mag is like this, where we click on a thread and it opens up into the most wonderful delights. Thank you!

On Page one you mentioned that you want a strain that does not give munchies.
Well I found that Dave Van Pots Purple Indica that I test grew did not give me munchies at all. It did how ever force me to reorganize the Linen cupboard at 1.30 am after smoking a joint. I took everything out and tried to put everything back in neatly, but somehow it never worked. I could not get it to look any better then before.
Also KY testgrew it and he mentioned a twitchy eye.
So you might want to weigh up the pros and cons here. NO munchies against sudden extreme energy and with much private debating/ and a twitchy eye syndrome

Hi Ronley.. Thanks for the post! I searched out your thread on the Purple Indica. wow... 40 grams on one plant. Excellent yield hey? Very nice thread by the way. I will definately keep that on my gonna try list.

Ohmygawd.. not the twitchy eye syndrome! lol I wonder if its that one where your eye twitches and noone else notices but you? Course a bit of motivation in cleaning out my linen closet is probably needed. Would definately beat opening the door and slamming it fast before everything falls on my head. :yoinks:

Things are lookin great your way huh Jenna? Hey! Did I read that Dave Van Pots was originally with BC Bud depot? I think I thought I did! My GodBud are from BC depot and they are very berry smelling. I think I read where he seperated from them and originally bred GodBud BC. I guess thats the purple indica used! I could be mistaken, does anyone know? Sorry for the highjack

hi dc105

Thanks for stoppin in! yeah.. the plants are looking pretty good so far.. a few errors on my part at the beginning with nute but no permanent damage. All part of my learning curve I guess.

No clue on the purple indica and god bud link... maybe somebody else out there knows? My hawaiian goddess looks similiar to godbud I think but no purple so far.
