Jamjam are second row in from the left (except the back one is New Caldonia)
Have two starting to flower quicker and forming buds fuller early. And one tall lanky one starting slow with tiny buds.

they look very healthy !

just wondering about your grow medium what do you use ??
Currently in perlite. I see a slight tip burn. Feeding 1.1ec ph 5.8. Ohaze I keep below .9ec so may adjust.

Not sure how I will flower yet. They need more room, working it out, but not in any hurry.

great info, thanks for sharing. Theres a couple in our group that grow with perlite "soilless" and I'm definitely interested on learning how people grow intense sativas/narrowleaf cultivars in soilless mediums. Also the feeding.

I havent flowered in perlite before. I have used perlite to easily transplant into hydroton. Its easy and clean to dip/wash off for transplanting. Dip in cup of water and gently agitate to clean.

I use RO water in hydro. I ran Ohaze in coco and in hydroton. Start low ec and work up. I started to see tip burn at .9ec keep ph 5.8-6.0. I've run Ohz, Ace Panama, Ace Malawi, Ace Golden Tiger and Zamadelica in aeroponics on salts and all but the Ohz handled higher ec's more along the lines of hybrids without seeing much burn.

I am considering small perlite hempy buckets/containers this round. These cups have a hole only in the side so a tiny bit of water remains in the bottom hempy like. I may add a small amt of vermiculite but not more than 25-30%.

I'm getting a good bit of growth on these and everything in about a weeks time theyve blown up.

Some Lambsbread sweet black pepper red stem pheno that started flowering 1 week before the Toronto fall equinox and harvested today fully seeded. Fully seeding is the only way to finish this strain outdoors at my latitude. The high is meditative and energetic. Very unique effect. Because this is for seed I let some of the triches turn amber...more than I'd like. The other Lambsbread phenos are a week behind. 20241109_184644.jpg 20241109_184648.jpg

The Jamaican plant I posted earlier in the thread, from this year's outdoor is now being smoked. Pretty wild smells and flavor on this one. The same range of smells are present in all of them I have grown, but different phenos express those flavors in surprising ways. Usually, from this line I get spicy, fruity herb, with a nice up high. This one, is very spice heavy. Extremely savory, almost like a pot roast type flavor, pronounced onion flavor with some green mango and unripe pineapple in the back end. Definitely peppery, but much more complex overall. I'm digging this one for sure. Still has a pretty energetic high, but with a bit more of a crash on this one.

edit; there is also a blueberry-ish flavor that lingers after the exhale. That note is more present on the others, but still there in this meaty/oniony one.

Picture taken today in Toronto. The first picture has the sweet black pepper pheno in the back and the slimmest leaved mango pheno in the front. The pepper one comes down today. She started flowering a week earlier than the others. The picture the other day was of her. The mango pheno (by dry herb vape) has an active clear effect, no paranoia or anxiety with a bit of a comedown. She is the most resistant of them all to mold and mildew. She is completely immune! The second pic greener one (also green stem) in the ground smells like green apples and dry vaping a sample gives an energetic clear high but with mental calmness and no burnout or paranoia. She is also hardy like a weed! I accidentally riped most of her roots when transplanting to the ground and she didn't care! She has another week to go based on seed ripeness. These are Richard Williams seeds originally Vibes Collective/Bushman (as far as what I read on here).

I smoked a little of it yesterday after work, I think there's a little anise in there too. But the overall dominant flavor and nose vary by pheno. All have the same basic notes, but the ratios are pretty different for some of them. Some are more tropical/sour fruit up front, others are more spicy/savory. Nice upbeat daytime high, with some crash but not bad.

Beautiful plants bro! And having them in Toronto gives more rep to your work.

Enjoy that good smoke! IRIE !!

Did you do a seed run as well?

Thanks! This is a seed run as I dry vape and seeds don't bother me. I roll the flower when semi dry into cherry size balls so the seeds gently fall out, and then freeze for vaping or jar cure for smoking. Seeds allow these tropical nlds to finish in 2 months under the sun or else it would be impossible to ripen. Thankfully we haven't had a frost here yet. Because the plants are big to begin with (the ones in the ground at least), and dry vaping consumes so little flower, I end up with enough flower for the year. I have thousands of seeds obviously if people want trades. If the negative effects of an indica hybrid is sluggishness/dullness and the negative effects of certain nld is paranoia, this strain has neither negative traits. It still feels like weed (vs an entirely new drug), but without the negative traits in terms of effects. Clear yet trippy, lucid, your body is moving almost automatically so you get things done while the brain is relaxed, extremely creative and meditative with a slight headband effect around the head. A few phenos do have a slight burnout, but nothing compared to modern hybrids that burn you out after 20min.
