Jamaican Grape and NYCD x Cotton Candy grow and smoke report.

great thread, and very nice lookin' headies!! I, too, am growing the NYCDxCC and am about 34 days into flower. I must say I am anxoius to see the finished product. I have two phenos: A very Christmas tree shaped, taller, more sative-leaning one; and a very squat, super broad leafed one that looks almost like a pure afghani. The sative one has lemon/fuel smell, and the afghani one has a pungent, piney, acrid smell. Both look to yeild well, with the afghani looking to be better suited for my closet s.o.g. set-up. I also have some NYCDxST#3 beans chillin' in the fridge. I might just get to poppin' a few...

Ms.Grat3ful you don't need to ban no member here. I've have my share of genetics from gypsy nd they are also some of the finest. I don't work for ko seedbank or seedcompany nor do i work for the individuals who I said my med patients received genetics from. I simply want individuals to try these strains as they are also close to the holy grail when it comes to medical application department. If the review my first post intially you will notice I have posted strains from two different seedbanks. Not trying to make a profit off of nobody. Only here for the love and hope of the sharing of knowledge. Maybe you need a jamaican grape spliff PARTNER! GUIDance.

As for you TJNjed, the nycd x cc is a nice strain. Like I said you have the same two pheno's that I had. When they are done I'd say about 59days for the short ones, and 68 days for the tall pheno, you will have two very delicious smokes with pretty similar highs. The short one will taste more like grapefruit and the tall one will taste more like lime wood. both delicious and trippy in nature along with a really nice smooth body. Hello Eugenegreen and thanks for the comment. I looked over my post again, and yeah I guess I may have pushed the website a bit hard. Wasnt trying to do that. I just never thought I would have gotten such stable true to description genetics as a freebie for a $60 purchase of some blueberry x afghani x bubblegum beans. I actually got the PARTNER part from the movie "juice" if you remember. Anyway respect to all who are here and with us to who obtain the enlightenment of the healing of the nation. Jah Bless.All my grape is done now, and so is my nycd x cotton candy. Im very sad these days as after being spoiled with those two strains, nothing on my sativa side compares, especially to the grape. I still love my Homegrown fantaseeds blueberry x haze (very potent, and sweet/spicy tasting) that won the cup a few years back and it does yeild a bit better than the grape, but the blue haze, is a bit below the grape in buzz department and smell department. They are both delicious though, especially in organic. The grape burns and the smoke stays in the air for a long time, and smells simply of grape ivory soap. The blue haze just smells a bit more berry pungent. Gotta love sativa's. Love my white widow from nirvana for indica's though. Can be a bit rushy due to sativa in it at times as well.Think I enjoy blue satellite for an inbetween balanced head/body buzz though, very nice indeed. Peace guys

Hello Guys Thought I'd post a couple of shots of some bluesatellite's I obtained from the nice guys at hempdepot at the same time I got my nycd x cotton candy.








Here is also a little smoke report on them:
Yeild: 7/10. It grew very sativa like foxtail buds, and was prety dense, but was not the biggest yeilder in my garden. My biggest yeilder was an unknown midrange indica/sativa from Tiki Seedbank obtained from the nice guys at Seed Boutique. It smoked very much like some good old kush and had a lemon doodoo smell all throughout the grow...SORRY IM OFF TOPIC. Back TO the Satellite.

Taste:9.5/10 very delicious. Really smooth smoke, not a cough at all. Taste very berry/incense like. Sweetest smelling strain in my garden. explained why it taste the sweetest as well.

High:8.5/10 This is some real smooth thai like smoke. some smooth sailing on this one. Last relatively long too. Not as long as the jamaican grape, but thats in a class itself. The Blueberry goodness here was fully present, and accompanied by a nice kind head, was a warm cool gliding body upliftment without any couch lock effect. Perfect balance with very nice head. No paranoia with this one. beautiful. this is good for those who want something potent but don't want to be tripping out too much.

Overall: I'd say a solid 8.25/10. A very good meditative strain that is good to relieve things such as nausea and stress from excessive work, uplifting and relaxing at the same time. BIG UP TO DJ SHORT/SPICE OF LIFE.

ANd here's some nirvana white widow from seed boutique (I like to let mine go for 60days for a super strong indica with some sativa edginess, and man does the widow put you in your place, it knocks you on your ass, and your thoughts are all jumbled as well)(some of my med friends try and keep the widow to the end of the day when all work is done):

Your welcome 58flh. Im sure the med community is more than happy to know the true effects of strains that I have tried when grown properly using only pure organics. It is vital that people consume righteous herb for their day to day pain and healing. Bar none "Jamaican Grape" from Secret Valley is my favourite sativa to smoke throughout the day and nite if I plan to be energetic, and White Widow is my favourite indica, had some of a friends left over from a few months ago and it is still dank as ever and had that delicious musky sour widow skunky astringent taste, and tingles throughout your body as it beats you up for a while. I do want to try ice, and I had started a few in the past, but left a few with a friend to look after and he messed up, so that was that. Peace bro and stay safe.
