just going to go back to the basics, because that is what has worked for me with 100% success in the past....

temps are cool, what's the preference with this, 00420? REALLY INTERESTED IN YOUR INPUT BRO, PLEASE FILL ME IN! I think it was the fact i put a near dead wc-nice clone in there that was the culprit i think, dunno tho maybe it WAS temps i wasnt monitoring but again, they were 'cool' there was also lotsa light (hps) getting in the tub eeeek

ill post some pics if i have enough energy when i get back from the spot the plants are at. Saw them earlier so don't need much time there, see yas soon

for bubblers i all ways liked 68-72.....

hps light should not have anything to do with it... other then that u should see roots in 3-10 days....... depinding on strain..

the light in the root zone is no good as it promotes algae growth, i use h2o2 like it's going outta style tho so i doubt it, my take on it is it was the necrotic, rotting wc nice clone i stuck in there that contaminated the rest.

all is well, and today is going to be a big day

cloning in --
1-sand
2-water
3-oasis

sowing seeds in oasis as well, powerhouse from og bub (deep chunk x c99) and more kona gold.

transplanting everything into larger containers too, grabbin some promix and perlite and epsom salts while im out and im a happy camper.

hey guys just fell asleep in front of the machine will have updates coming wheni get to the store.... If i can shower up and get ready within an hour and a half i have a shot at makin the home-store, if not, no updates for 24 hrs.

thanks again for showing up at my lil' ole thread.. appreciate all the company more than you know

will return with updates when things get good,
the one cut from the bubbler isnt doin great but hopefully will live,
in with it in the same pot i put a small cross section cutting that is open at both ends with a skinned stem and rooting hormone, stuck under promix in the same pot as the regular clone.. its "found money" being that this part of the cut would normally be disposed of by the gardener, i on the other hand liek to be as frugal as possible so i applied some old skool gardening sage i had stored up in the memory wharehouse and applied it to Cannabis, not too difficult to adapt the teks like sand, this rooting procedure and other unconventional techniques to pot, mary is the most versatile crop i have worked with ever.
as for the rest of the cloning werks,
Kona plants will be cut tonite and go into some tap water as the new jack cuttings are (and looks like the jacks will explode with roots very soon!) i slacked the other nite and didnt make it to the store till the next evening, sorry for not updating...to be honest, i didn't even know anyone had replied!! thx again

sucks to have no meds and have to spend $50-$100 a day on ganja thats just mediocre to minimally support my medical needs...

life will once be good again for the ole' cap and i'm never going back to annual harvests, i smoke entirely too much reefer

Cool CJ I never thought to root a cross stem cutting. Two areas for roots is appealing. If I have a long one, I'll cut it in 2, but your cross stem stylee is innovative.

jack's doing shitty. in that pot, was rootbound, i dropped er, and now basting under the HPS getting a drink THRICE every 2 days.. pH test, or, lack there of, are killin' me too, i need to get a pen this week. Any sugestions on a tri meter or a cheapo yet reliable digital, waterproof pH meter?

i can only imagine how crazy that shit looks rooting but i wont dare disturb it now that the mom is dying back, if she revives after a nice Xplant to soil containing beneficial mycorhizzae and a weak organic fert, im throwing her into flower and we'll have a bunch a jack fingerbuds to gaze at soon enough...

Yo CJ - I would check ebay for ph pens. I have purchased 2 there so far, you can get great deals if you pay attention. Like at half off retail, and the models are new. A lot of my grow purchases are done there through a friends account. My newer one is a milwuakee, I forget the model number (maybe p50?) but it is just a ph meter. def do waterproof. I lost my first one to moisture inside the computer. milwaukee and hanna are good ones IMO. If you are using organics I wouldnt worry about the TDS too much, cause most organics dont register accurate ppms. You can save the money on that. If not organics, then go for it.

Here's that "cross section" clone today.

She's got 3 Tops,
Going to give it 1 more shot of Nitrogen and then cut it back where's it's a bit stretchy there for a nice even three main tops to grow up together nice and uniform.

that's all for 2nite, going to smoke some of this schwagg and admire my garden and maybe head to the chat for a bit..
