just make up something and put "kush" behind it...

supercalifragilasticexpalidocious kush..

see they will scoop it right up.
if you can make it purple and fruity even better...

sorry but the whole "kush" thing kills me...
none of it has any resemblance to what the old hindu kush strains once were.
nothing kush about all these "kush" cuts...

rant over.

sad but true in many cases

correct me here if im wrong

but before I heard of OG Kush

there was hindu which kind of had a more hashy or spicey taste

and then there was the one they called skunk kush aka master kush..kinda had a more minty mild skunk mild sour smell

OG wasn't put in front of kush until much later

for example something OG could be anything

if a dank train wreck or purple or berry or whatever came in, we'd ask is it OG? at the time meaning ocean grown? was it grown correctly, outdoors, near the ocean and in the sun?

This was a quality standard

only much later did we here the OG kush sometimes still referred to as ocean grown even its grown indoors or even somewhere completely different. its all confusion now..i hear original gangsters kush...and some other variations..honestly its a mess but its good to know if someone can tell you for sure if it was ocean grown

Dude $1600 you can get more up North in Humboldt for indoor, were are you going? I do agree when outdoor hit my neighbor tried to off his outdoor and the club would tell him I pay $1000 for crystaly shit like that all day long. So now I get it all for $1400, works for me. But now he has to sit on indoor and can't do anything with it. I feel it's because he is trying to sell yesterdays strain today. You need to keep rotating stock and coming up with new shit everyday to stay on top or to even keep up with the competition. Like me I'm getting my Chem 91 and Triangle Kush back because noone has em. (I lost em friend is sending me cuts back. Blah blah) Can't wait. Clubs suck they can't even carry a good strains. Good thing I don't buy from them.

Also it's not about rocket Science either ass. Pg&E charges .80 a kwh for what the call over your limit usage fee. 4k grow is $1200 a month with equipment and everything and rent, plant food, Co2 etc.. I don't use miracle grow like you under some compact flourescent for a $2 grow bro. If these clubs keep lowering prices things quality will go down. Or Weed-mart will win. They make money "non-profit" my ass. We all know. I raise a family & I don't waist my money on BS like I wish I could.

Also growers do except the low prices. I have walked out of a few clubs for low balling. I hate to haggle. I say what I want if they don't I go somewhere else. Don't get low balled and except it either.

How much do I grow? Barely enough that I need. Sometimes I go short.

If I was truly SICK or DISABLED... I would think you're worse than a thief if you tried to charge me more than $10 an hour to do what I _can_ do for myself right now...

In addition, if you remove the legal issues, none of you would be growing indoors because you would be able to invest waaaaaay more on the actual plant if you had outdoor gardens.

It is true, some people have no clue... about 12/12 light cycles... length of flower period... how long to dry/cure...

If you feel comfortable gouging the know-no-betters for what you know, continue on... but thats what ultimately is going to drive the price down.

People are learning to know better.

nope..
outdoor is cute.
but i like harvesting when there is 4' of snow on the ground.
i also like controlling the environment completely.

your every post in this thread shows how little you know about real commercial production of grade AAA..

So you would prefer to "harvest when there is 4' of snow on the ground" for the 4th time this year when you could have harvested a TON of top shelf ONCE a year?

Maybe you just never had a LOT of really GOOD outdoor?

But I guess you know more than I do about real commercial production of grade AAA

And that's clearly a smudge on the toilet, not a turd.

id rather harvest real AAA
once a month.
but if you would prefer a "ton" of outdoor grade B thats you..
i like harvesting every 2 weeks..
steady money you understand ;)

something about eggs and baskets.

and turd or smudge it's still a pile 'o shit ;)

You could grow on one acre of land 10x what you can grow in your bedroom... I don't care if you're harvesting every month.

The best weed I've ever smoked was outdoor. So whatever you're calling grade B you're tripping.

And who cares if shits in a fucking toilet. That's where shit goes.

If you're growing for COMMERCIAL reasons to supply people with affordable MEDICINE and RECREATION you would grow OUTDOORS.

If you're growing for COMMERCIAL reasons to make MONEY, you would grow OUTDOORS.

The only reason you grow indoors is because you are scared or you don't own land.

LMAO!!!!!
i do OD every year for fun...
but the quality just aint in it..
but ive only been growing for a little over a decade and a half in 6 different states...
what do i know.
as for the poop pic.
the fail is in the fact she took a pic trying to be sexy with shit in the background.

good luck in your attempt to tell everyone what they should make for their efforts...
when you go buy your next sack you can hate on those who grew it for you ;)

darth-vader-epic-fail.jpg

here is another pic for you to complain about...

[EDIT]
i just saw your "bedroom" comment.
there is your problem.
we spend thousands setting up professional grow labs.
bedroom growers are great for supplying their buddies with ganja but it aint commercial growing.
apples and oranges.

Just because you don't have a green thumb outdoors doesn't mean someone else can?

Your "grow labs" still get pests, mold, same shit outdoor crops go through.

I have been complaining about 7grams costing $100 for a little over a decade.

DANK outdoor KILLS indoor in all respects. Smell, appearance, potency, PRICE, quantity. The only thing OUTDOOR can't do is multiple harvests a year... which is why if it were legal, people would just grow a LOT of outdoor rather than bother with all the equipment, loss of space, electric bill

your right...
what do all of us who have been growing your pot for years know...
sorry i questioned you.
it's hard for us noobs to compete with people who know everything.

how many pounds did you give away from your outdoor this year?

I can understand both side of the stories, but remember before this plant was outlawed in all shapes form and size.

Most growers argument was, how the big pharma companies were raping the customers.

Remember when we needed medical marijuana because of the side effects of the medicines pharma companies were putting out and we couldn't afford it.

Now some of you guys are using the same argument those companies use. For their outrageous prices. I guess they weren't as bad as we made them out to be.

Dont get me wrong, I will never knock anybody for making their money. We all gotta eat. But keep it real, its not all about the patient for some of you guy, like you put on.

my patients all receive 1 oz free per month.
they receive the second @ 150
anything more runs 300.
i do this because without patients i cant grow. there is reciprocity in this.

i make mine off of "overages" but thats how i do it..
i know caregivers who charge 300 to patients and even more..
but buyers like TOL wont be happy till they get something for nothing.

when they put their bud where their mouth is ill believe their bullshit.
but if you have not grown these "tons" of outdoor AAA and given it away your just orally defecating.

Been getting 2, sometimes 3 harvests a year, outdoor (Greenhouse) for years--
Last summer we pulled 100#'s-- Counting on close to that for our Spring Crop this year-- Simply takes time, hard work...and a whole lot more than water--:tiphat:

I'll bow out of this conversation as it will now clearly go nowhere.

go ahead and tell that to all the CA hippies that have been growing for five decades that can't sell their OD this year...

would I bother growing my heirloom tomatoes for personal consumption indoors under 1000w lamps? hell no. The sun grows tomatoes just fine. My indoor herb absolutely kills my outdoor herb, is it close-ish? yeah sure its close-ish, close-ish doesn't pay the bills in a competitive market, PLUS if you have a commercial operation, having 200 lbs come October will end up molding away in storage by the next July. What are you gonna use to stock your shelves with fresh product all through the year?

if its so simple as 'water it and make millions' in your eyes. Why do you think there's $2 of wine and $2,000 bottles of wine? they just watering grapes right?

How much do I grow? Barely enough that I need. Sometimes I go short.

okay so take the amount of work that you put into YOUR grow (self supplying truly does take absolutely minimal work, you have nowhere near the load of a commercial op), multiply that by 100. That is not even close to the total amount of work its gonna take to barely keep the co op open FOR ONE DAY. (work that all the vendors did to have that product there that day)

If I was truly SICK or DISABLED... I would think you're worse than a thief if you tried to charge me more than $10 an hour to do what I _can_ do for myself right now...

if you can do it, you aren't sick enough or disabled enough. Sorry its just a hobby then. If you can't provide for yourself, you can hire a caregiver, I see ads for them every day in the paper, they charge far more than $10 an hour.

In addition, if you remove the legal issues, none of you would be growing indoors because you would be able to invest waaaaaay more on the actual plant if you had outdoor gardens.

if you remove the legal issues you can fill acres wall to wall without fear of 10 years in federal prison, such as the case right now. So can every single Tom Dick and Harry.

sooooo apples to oranges, WHEN its legal that will come into play, however it isn't legal and because of such, has a cost associated with it. I'm sure you've heard of risk/reward ratios.

You still haven't said how much 5 years of "in your twenties" years are worth..... to you....

It is true, some people have no clue... about 12/12 light cycles... length of flower period... how long to dry/cure...

If you feel comfortable gouging the know-no-betters for what you know, continue on... but thats what ultimately is going to drive the price down.

do you brew your own beer? distill your own whiskey? what about stomp grapes for your wine?

I know the basics of making jailhouse alcohol, not how to distill grain into commercial quality booze. I pay someone else to take care of that for me. The $30 my bottle of vodka costs reflect not just the potatoes that "just need water rite?!" but rather a whole collection of labor coming together in one neat little package for a consumer.

not to sound like a pompous asshole, but you sound like a 20 year old kid who has no real life experience dealing with large scale agriculture or drug business, much less the two together. It ain't all roses and sunshine, I'll tell ya that.

I've been buying my own up until I supply my own. Do I supply enough of my own? No. I don't have the space.

When I buy my weed, I am paying a premium on space. I am paying a premium on someone else's time. I am paying a premium on someone else's investment.

IT STILL IS JUST WATERING A PLANT. In the most BASIC form of production.

Yes, you can make ANYTHING more complicated than it has to be.

The only reason some hippies can't sell their outdoor is because there are a 1000 of them standing shoulder to shoulder asking the same prices.

Safely send that hippie to a non-med state and his product is worth its weight in gold.

Its not the work that you do that justifies your costs. Its the potential LOSS you might suffer that allows you to mark up.

Those sick people you give their first oz for free, second 150...

If they did the same thing with hot dogs, or lettuce, or any other commodity you would be bitching up a storm.

But since YOU grew YOUR AAA+ you want TOP DOLLAR because you did research thats says thats what you can get.

So since Madonna or Lil Wayne are down to pay 700 a zip for AAA that means any other white or blue collar worker who doesn't grow his own should pay at least 500... because someone else will pay 700?

Yea. Thats capitalism. I didn't realize all you growers were capitalist whores.

Funny you bring up brewing your own beer. The bottles I buy are usually 10+ bucks for a 22oz. Rather pricey for me. I don't like spending 10 bucks on weed, how do you think I feel about beer?

Problem is, not only do I not have the space or equipment... I have a drinking problem. The more available, the more I drink. Last thing I need is a 5 gallon carboy full of beer.

So yea, the liquor store gets off making a few bucks from my beer purchases because I don't brew my own.

Big deal.

I'm not complaining about that.

Why are you complaining the Clubs are marking shit up? Makes perfect sense to me.

Or do you feel you deserve thousands of extra dollars in overhead because you do all the watering by hand?

like i said
you cant explain something to someone who knows it all already..
especially when that someone has NEVER done the thing they know everything about..
get back to us when you actually grow some pot 'eh
but you wont..

as far as my patients and hot dogs..
again apples and oranges.
oscar meyer dont need "patients" to be allowed to manufacture hot dogs.
but that will fly right over your head..
care to respond?
You still haven't said how much 5 years of "in your twenties" years are worth..... to you....
or respond to this one?
how many pounds did you give away from your outdoor this year?

you aint never done it but wanna tell your betters how it's supposed to be done?

:jerkit:
try that shit with your dealer and see how far you get.
i aint had a dealer since you got your first pube.
party on wayne.
keep on displaying that monumental ignorance of cannabis production...

Why don't you make it clear what you're arguing? Because I'm confused.

Are you saying you charge hundreds of dollars in overhead because you have "patients" which you need to "legally" grow but there are other customers that you basically RIP OFF because you give shit away for free to other people?

Your question about giving away pounds of outdoor... not sure what your point is with that one. I live in a major metropolitan area and have NO outdoor space to grow.

Of all the weed I have purchased, grown, smoked, the BEST SHIT was some outdoor headband from norCal.

Your question about what years of your life are worth is confusing.

No matter if you grow weed, join the army, become a cop, a dentist, or bag groceries, you have to do something for a living. Its your choice what you do.

Did you choose to grow weed because you can mark the cost up extraordinarily once you have invested your own time and energy?

I chose to grow weed because I couldn't afford to pay what people like you said it costs.

Now I've discovered that growing my own, on the scale at which I currently manage... which is less than my medical limit...

COSTS ME ROUGHLY $120 AN OUNCE.

I flower 3 plants at a time.

Explain to me, with your bedroom... or your warehouse... or whatever you do with your extra equipment (more than me)...

EXPLAIN TO ME HOW YOUR OUNCES COST MORE THAN MINE.

If you can explain to me how your ounces costs more than $120 to produce, then I can begin to understand how you charge more than 200 an ounce.

IT STILL IS JUST WATERING A PLANT. In the most BASIC form of production.

its still a cost though. and that cost is passed on in the price of the goods, dont like the price? fine walk away. PLENTY of people willing to wait in line for $50 eighths at the co ops.

Yes, you can make ANYTHING more complicated than it has to be.

you can also oversimplify large scale agriculture by saying "you're just watering a plant".

The only reason some hippies can't sell their outdoor is because there are a 1000 of them standing shoulder to shoulder asking the same prices.

Safely send that hippie to a non-med state and his product is worth its weight in gold.

ding ding ding we got a lightbulb goin off!

so in order for the hippie to grow tons of weight and make enough to put food on the table and pay his rent (do growers have a 401k? oh yeah, they dont), he now needs to ship it to a non medical state and risk more felonies, just to sell it. Selling it here isn't as simple, even outdoors, as 'just watering it' you see.

the price they are getting is above the cost of production, but then again so is every other good you can purchase.

supply/demand.
I dont use $10 worth of tomatoes in my marinara sauce, but you bet your ass I dont drink $2 wine while I'm cooking. I drink more in grapes dollar wise, than goes into all of the produce in my meal. and I pay that price with a smile on my face. I am paying for the goods and services I received. basic economics.

Its not the work that you do that justifies your costs. Its the potential LOSS you might suffer that allows you to mark up.

I'm still waiting to hear what 5 years of your life is worth.......

Those sick people you give their first oz for free, second 150...

If they did the same thing with hot dogs, or lettuce, or any other commodity you would be bitching up a storm.

But since YOU grew YOUR AAA+ you want TOP DOLLAR because you did research thats says thats what you can get.

no its because thats the going market rate for those goods.

I'm confused on this part.... I mean its kinda like homeless people getting food at a shelter, they should appreciate it (imo) but at the same time they shouldn't expect to walk into a grocery store and pick and choose what they want on the shelves and just have at it.

So since Madonna or Lil Wayne are down to pay 700 a zip for AAA that means any other white or blue collar worker who doesn't grow his own should pay at least 500... because someone else will pay 700?

if there is a line out the door of people willing to pay $50 an eighth... you wanna guess what the price will be set at?

You think 'stoners' say "aw man this is my last $50 mannn, i gotta pay the rent, aw shit but I need an eighth so bad!" if you can't afford it, live within your means. I see people paying that price with a smile all day because that service provided is WORTH THAT PRICE to them. A $50 eighth of herb last me longer than 5 $10 bottles of table wine.

So yea, the liquor store gets off making a few bucks from my beer purchases because I don't brew my own.

Big deal.

I'm not complaining about that.

but you'll complain about someone else in the drug/intoxicant market and their exorbitant prices?

Why are you complaining the Clubs are marking shit up? Makes perfect sense to me.

Or do you feel you deserve thousands of extra dollars in overhead because you do all the watering by hand?

huh? I'm getting lost here, I'm not complaining about co ops marking prices up, I'm debating your 'all you do is water plants' logic.

why do you think lawyers can charge $400 an hour and get away with it? because they are that fucking good at what they do.
