I guess I should back out of this debate now, as I'm discussing this with someone who has close to 7000 posts.

post count matters?

if there never were subsidies then tomatoes would have been a luxury to most.
subsidies artificially deflate the price of goods and make the farmer dependent on them.

ending them will bring the price of tomatoes back to where they should be.

this just proves that the cost of tomatoes is a lot less than it should be.
transitive properties would suggest without subsidies you wont see a rapid deflation in mj prices with legalization.

mellons(i assume you meant melons ;) )
sell every day both cheap and expensive
cognac (even louis @ 1300 and my personal fave Martel cordon bleu @ $150) sell constantly.
every high end steak house has a bottle of each. they sell single snifters (1.5 oz) for $150.00

the rest is just redundancy of the first..
apply same response.

so you completely dodged my question:

are you comparing a bottle that has aged for 100 years in perfect conditions to your 6 months of hard work AAA top shelf?

my reference to your post count was just a comment on how much posting I should expect to try to make any point get through to you

yes and no..

top shelf yes

phillip morris schwag no
i already stated this ill quote myself

but this whole dream of "the feds telling us we could grow as much as we want"
is a fucking joke.
it ain't happening EVER!!
you know it and so do i

only cause there are people who are like you and dont believe so you do nothing about it

for fucks sake you cant even grow as many tomatoes as "you want" without running up against the feds and their regulations..
big business will dominate the bulk production as usual

why does louis XIII cost $1300 and E&J cost $4?

so even if the imaginary free for all was realized..
small batch top shelf organic will fetch $500...
again i already said this

how do you not see this?

melon460_3.jpg

^^^^
a SIX THOUSAND DOLLAR WATERMELON!!!!!!!

watermelons are not illegal.

square-watermelon.jpg

^^^
$500

and there is nothing special 'bout square melons.
i have grown them for years.
any melon will do it.
BTW:
they are not illegal
some people are retarded

thats the number 1 reason im using it as a cash grab...

ill be the first to admit it, im not ashamed...

i plan to invest what i can earn while still illegal into a "legit" business...

the day the fed legalizes weed youll see one of two things either it will be edibles only as promoting smoking for health is ludacris or it will be like beer or cigs and youll see 100 dollar oz or less im thinking like 50-60 tops for your run of the mill commercial that rj reynolds will grow. youll still see expensive weed just like your 1000 dollar bottle of boose...

either way you have to find your niche if you cant produce it in quantity cheap you better produce quality that warrants the exorbitant price

edit: FOR THE RECORD i am for total sweeping legalization...
:ying:

how many MAN HOURS were put into that AAA top shelf, even if its legal?

How rare is the melon, the cognac, and the AAA top shelf...

... a fuck load more than schwagg

Sounds like a load, alright. Nobody's saying your schwagg example compares to AAA in quality or price. Based on typical market forces they'll both go down, along with every grade in between.

these are wht determine their value...
not legal status
I'm happy you weren't around to suggest that to Al Capone.

same as any other
(except square melons they take up less room)
Yep, square melons take 1000x less space than round, j/k.

BTW the $6000 melon has nothing to do with shape.
BTW, more subjective reasoning purported as fact. Maybe we could spike your square melon with your $1300 cognac and justify no disparity in market vs black market pricing. Again, j/k because you're ignoring the legal vs illegal aspect.

Truth or lies, think your preaching to the wrong crowd. Thats why most of us here will never agree with your opinion. My suggestion to people like yourself is buy some mexican schwag, or whatever is in your price range. There are obviously plenty of people willing to pay for quality herb, so for now aquaire what you can afford. Your opinion vs the market is pointless. The market does what the market does, don't know how many times I can say it. Supply vs demand, and the price is what a person is willing to pay, MARKET sets the price. If I didn't grow I would never be able to keep up with my smoking habbits, so I suggest you as well do not live outside of your means.

You seem like 100% hater

You remind me of a fella named OWLmirror, you irk me the same , it must be you, you have returned?

ill give you this..
those fucks pumping out inferior product and passing it off as top shelf, the guys shipping their OD off to the east and passing it off as top shelf, the little closet hack with his uncured miracle grow crap.
they will see their overinflated prices plummet to what they are worth.
those who have dedicated decades perfecting their craft, those who pride themselves on being artisans, those who sacrifice the easy money for producing mature, properly dried, manicured and cured organic product will see their prices stay right where they are.

Do you have a psychoanalysis couch or are you armchair quarterbacking?

your tune is old.
And your economics theory isn't applied.

:thank you:
I believe you ignore what I brought and fabricate whatever you choose to argue. Good luck with your black-market influenced pricing when it ain't black-market anymore. I get it, you love your AAA. Good thing you'll pay less when it's legalized where all the other little dag's compete for your market share.

Or it does, especially if I don't know what congac is.
yet somehow you managed to figure it out!!!!!
amazing!!!
how did you do it?

Oh, I get it. Disagree with dag's opinion and all is worthless.

Where I am at you can get 4000+ for white rhino. I see way to much cali stuff out here going for 3000ish but its not that good. My Auto's ive grown have blown that stuff away. Its always got the "good" names like kush and such. To much of that stuff isn't close to mature or was cured for 2 weeks in death valley.

I wouldn't mind a decent price drop for good peace of mind. Just consider the extra money non medical states get like someone who doesn't have auto insurance. You might be saving but in the long run you can get fucked.
