I will most certainly come visit if they open Amsterdam-style coffee shops there. People from around the world will visit. Colorado's economy will benefit greatly from all the new money from tourism. I grow more than I can use personally, and I could get whatever I want in California anyway. I'll still support the new pioneers in the legal weed business in Colorado. That's assuming Obama doesn't shut it down before it gets started.

I live in denver and I hope this winds up being good for our economy but keep in mind that dispensary weed prices are at an all time low and everyone I know is a grower and no one can even give weed away right now.

Everyone 21 and older in Colorado can now talk openly about cannabis... without looking over their shoulders for LEOs. (This is HUGE!)
Everyone 21 and older in Colorado can now have cannabis in their house (yes... more than an ounce) and not get prosecuted for it.
Yes, there are issues but they're far overshadowed by the positives here.
Now... if they can just set up the legislation so that it's difficult for the feds to figure out which property owners are 'selling' or 'cultivating' cannabis... we can lower the threat of a federal letter writing campaign and reduce the number of federal seizures.
