Seems like Rez's SD IBL is alright for breeding.
From what I've seen people grow and what I've grown with it as the father.
They all seemed a little unstable (Mostly overfeeding would herm) BUt there are some dads from those seeds that are very stable, I think.
It's just a matter of selection which is hard with malesw because it takes a long time and you have to breed it to something that you know is stable and then go from there. That can take a year almost.
But point is.
I've seen stable strains that were made with Rez SD IBL males.
It seems like there would be more stability in a male SD IBL then the east coast sour Diesel clone which is really unstable.
BUt more of an observation then anything real cxontrete.
I never bred with any Sour Diesel strains. I don't think I would except the SD hybrids like SSSDHaze and Chocolate diesel maybe.
If I found a male that I thought would work well with those 2 SD hybrids, I'd use those as the mothers. Because I know they are stable.(as stable as a Sour D Hybrid can be)

oh again my apologizes i should have said ..it seems like it is in "ALMOST' every fuckin elite strain... are u now happy that i made that clairification???

no problem man. just dont want anymore misinformation going around. god knows there is plenty of it with the "elite" clones. all the info on the strain we have to go by is from the people who it originated from. until i hear from them otherwise, i have no reason to doubt that it originated from bagseed.

Everyone should thank their lucky stars that chemdog was nice enough to give his cuts out. sometimes i think people forget. He gave em out without expecting anything in return except respect and their word. Thanks dude. Hope your well.

its all so funny to me to listen to all this. chemdog this chemdog that. it really doesent matter where it came from all that matters is its probably the best shit out there and every body wants it growers and smokers alike. while i have strains that i know are as good if not better people want that diesel smell and taste. i would pimp my old lady out to get a real chemdog cut. all i can say is cant wait to get my hands on his seeds when and if they come out.

As far as finding a male to breed with, that is easier said than done seeing how Chemdog is a clone only strain. I did cross the D with Doubledog (I think JJ of NyC did the same cross) but I haven't grown them out yet. Doubledog is good weed but what I've smoked isn't quite as potent as the D.
I bred the Double and gave it to Chemdog. He was going to breed with them, but he gave them to you and JoeB. The DD was one of many steps that I am taking to breed to the Chem Dawg family line. DD= Chem Dawg D X (Chem Dawg D X Afghani#1 sensi)
It will be intresting to compare my cross with the Afghani and Chem Dawg D to Rez's cross with the Hindu Kush and the Chem Dawg D.

I've never smoked any of these clone only US strains(i'm in OZ) so I can't comment on how great these strains are. However I've smoked alot of one hit wonders that keep you ripped for hours, with a variety of top notch highs and flavours. How does Chemdawg compare to these? Potency isn't a factor here, so what is it? I think it is obviously a great strain due to the feedback i've read, but I also think because of it's EXCLUSIVENESS it is the strain to have. As soon as seeds become available, it will lose much of it's appeal and there will be other "to have" strains. Just my honest opinion.

All I know is that the fucking Mass Super Kush is going for over 2k a pack on Seedbay and those seeds are junk compared to JJ's bagseed from the DoubleDog line. I stll have about 100 of those seeds.....and they wont be on seedbay.

i dont know about that man, sour diesel seeds came out awhile back, and people still go nuts over it. i think once chemdawg seeds come out, there will just be more fans due to the genetics being more widespread.

The proof will be in the pudding, if Chemdawg is as elite as suggested, you will probably be right.

I think that Chemdog D is wicked good pot and I love it to death but I don't think it'll be the Holy Grail to everyone. Matter of fact I have to say that it isn't my Holy Grail simply because I don't have a Holy Grail, I love variety way too much to ever even think about smoking or growing one strain of weed. I have a very small growing area and I try to get as much variety out of that area as possible. The strains in my garden are in a constant state of flux but one thing that I will say is that Chemdog D will always be in my stable. As far as seeds being worth two grand well that depends on your circumstances, to some people I guess two grand ain't shit but unfortunately for me I'm not one of those people. I've never paid over $40 for a pack of beans and I doubt if I'll ever buy seeds again. I did get great deals on SSH, Northernberry, Bubblegum, Astroboy, Conquistador and a few others and those were all under $30. The $40 seeds (which was alot to me at the time) were Reeferman's Odin's Hammer and it was the worst fucking weed I've ever grown or smoked. The two grand is a matter of perspective I guess too, if you're a cash cropper you'll get the money back and it was a charity auction so maybe people were bidding it up to be nice. As long as it doesn't have an ill effect on the market and gets people greedy and prices skyrocket. I'd hate to see inexpensive seeds disappear so people without much cash can't get good genes. Fuck it, if that happens we'll just have to squeeze any greedy bastards out of the picture by making and distributing good genes ourselves.
