im curious for the people that have the chemdawg (#4 or d)
if you guys could only keep one strain, would this be the one? just wondering if she really lives up to the hype

I have run the chem dawg, the ECSD clone and Rez's SD and the only one still in my garden is my SDv3. Now dont get me wrong, the Chem Dawg is great weed and the clone is still being run by my partner cause he LOVES it, but for me I like the flavor or the SD over the Dawg. The dawg also has the same problem as the ECSD clone, they both dont yield great and are VERY pick to grow, IMO. Now when it comes to the high, the Dawg is more couch lock the the SD, atleast to me it is and both are hard to build up a tolerence to and too much can get a little trippy for some. Now if I had to choose one I think I would have to say DAM WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ME DO THAT. That would be very hard but I would prolly keep my SDv3, but that just me, like I said my partner decided to keep the Dawg.
Ohhhh and as for the OG Kush thing, yes the Chem Dawg is the mom of the SD and the OG Kush, but from what I heard it wasnt a hermie Chem Dawg that was the pollen, it was a very old afghan that came from seeds collected in the 60's. The person that had the seeds became a guest of the state of Cali in the mid 80's in one of the big arrests in Nor Cal, but his old seeds where saved. This person became free again in the mid to late 90's and he got his seeds back and that is where the male came from that made the pollen for the OG Kush. But hey not sure, just heard that from my old friend down in Nor Cal, the same person who hooked me up with the Chem Dawg and the ECSD clones, what ever was used it sure made some good pot, cant go wrong with any of those IMO
. Now I'm going to go smoke a bowl of my SD and then a bowl of my buddies Dawg and see if I still feel the sameway.

White Mustang is Chem Dawg BX4 made with an old Humboldt county indica of unknown origin. White Mustang is a medium sized plant with average yields of high grade bud. Great pain meds with a profound head stone. Flower period is aprox. 60 days.

All I know about is sierra seeds "white Mustang".
Other then that I think LA con has OG or Bubba in it but that not what your after it doesn't sound like it at least.

It smells like diesel big time in veg.
I also have this clone that is a chemdawg Bx to Sour D, I'm pretty sure.
So there is a Bx clone going around that looks like a sour D bud structure on a chemdawg Plant structure.I'm not positive about this yet because I'm still growing it.
But It's done just ripening.
And it definately is not OG x Sour D.
It's chem x SD just don't know how many times it was backcrossed.
I'm guessing 3 times as thats the usual amount of times .
Plus the amount of SD influence is mostly all in the bud structure and even that is only at the top.
The lower buds look more like straight chemdawg. But you can still see the sour D in it.
I been calling it "Diesel Dawg"(Chemdawg Bx with Sour D) lately around the house.
But this is not 100% sure.
Almost though.
Anyway, just told you that so incase you are offered a chemdawg bx with Sour D, it's out there and it looks OK. Reminds me of the #4 06 chemdawg pheno.
But I'm guessing it's a Backcross and not the #4 because I don't know enough about chem #4 to say anything yet.

Off topic with this. I've seen 2 post here in this thread by Stepinrazor but can't see either one show up. 1 before JDOG's and 1 after both of JDOGS post. Anyone know why they wouldn't be showing up?
Back on topic, I understand Chemdog is working on some releases and am looking forward to seeing his gear. I do miss seeing him around. Hell of a grower.

OH and I can't wait till chemdawg finishes his chemdawg breeding projects either.
At least the first few. I here the Double Dawg is strong and the Dawg Daze is tastey I bet! Seems like every chemdawg hybrid is at least damn good if not damn F'in good smoke.
From what I unbderstand the 91 chemdawg and chemD are going around to alot of breeders for there own breeding projects.
So it won't just be Chemdawg coming out with hybrids.
I'm sure there will be a ton of them in a year or two.
But I'm sure chemdawgs will come out first.
I hope.

So a seed form up for sale would help alot of people out.

The way I understand it, Chemdog has been having some personal issues, and may not be around for a bit... I think the go-ahead has been given to reservoir to do some limited release work with the chemdog lines...resinryder said:

I cut alot of your post out to address this part of it JDOG. I believe he keeps restrictions on the cuts he's sent out, and for good reason. The man has got a killer line going and IMHO, it would be a shame to see some upstart begin whoring out the Chem line. Ya know it's happened before and will happen again. I'd rather see Chemdog profit off his gear instead of someone else. It only seems fair. He's given Rez permission to use it and that's a good thing IMO. At lest a few lucky growers will be able to experience it in his crosses. Can you imagine the amount of seed Chem would have to send to market to satisfy the lust of those who have seen, read, and drooled over his gear the past years?

I hope he gets what he deserves after all the work chemdawg himself has put into perserving this strain and getting it to the breeders.
I mean I know he didn't breed it but he could have thrown those seeds in the trash just as easy as anbody else would.
You guys know what I'm saying.
Props to chemdawg for keeping it going and spreading it around to the breeders.
And taking a chance on one of the best strains on earth,IMO. He must of had some killer karma coming his way. lol
And I was saying that once he releases the chemdawg in seed form.
The clones won't be so hard to get anymore.
Because there are seeds around.
You know like how Sour D is now and stuff like that.
