This is a pic from a few years back of a mexi brick seed offspring, effects were nil compared to cali/afgani variety. Thought I should share, it looked funky.

This one I found in my yard el natural (almost every year) and flower in the beginning of July. Anybody want to elaborate. I don't intend to highjack, let me know if I stepped on any toes. Thank You.

The Mexican commercial hybrids I've grown from decent mid-grade in the NYC area had definite Afghani/Skunk in it and was actually quite good smoke. I'd definitely give it a run to see what you have. Personally I'd love to run some Mexican genetics, landrace or commercial!

Four were taken out of the fridge as of 5 minutes ago,
And Gona soak them in a light rapid start solution or a week mills nutrient
Start r and see where this goes.. I poped 2 a few weeks ago by temps dropped

Nice, looking forward to this! If I didn't have a full tent I'd try and pop some Oaxacan from Gypsy (which I hear isn't actually from Oaxaca, but was grown there)!

The various weed's found in Mexico were significantly different between variety provenance and year, some were good some bad, the brick weed is usually of shit quality but of good origin.

I grew some nice stuff from bagseed in the late 80s and early 90s, but haven't bought any for a very long time. It's too bad so many of the older lines have been lost or forgotten. I guess pressure from narco police has contributed to growing faster lines with Dutch and other exotic genetics. Also it's hard to say how much was lost during paraquat fiasco. Fortunately people like Kaiki, Elchischas, and others are keeping these lines alive and putting them out for the community.

Took a hell of a lot of brods to find the one keeper and breed with,

In my 30s and I know exactly what you mean. I was speaking from experience! Nice analogy to breeding there...finding a good mom-to-be is no easy task unless you're willing to settle, like a lot of folks are.
