Humans developed the Christmas holiday (formerly the Pagan holiday of the winter equinox) to fight this negative energy.....that is why there is an emphasis on family reunions and gift-giving and large food celebrations around this time of year.....this is my theory, anyway.....

sounds like a good theory to me gp ,, also kinda says to me why its so outa place in australia ,, its hot as hell at xmas and the last thing we need is a huge hot meal and a bunch of drama ,, heheheh ...
