Good info Chaos, I always thought it was bagseed from SSH bought in GH in Dam, but with the originator changing the story constantly who really knows!



The SLH is basically a hybrid of SSH or Amnesia x Lemon Skunk which adds to the lemon flavour but really dulls down potency. Plus the guys that grow it on mass for GH overfeed it and don't flush well enough so it always tastes like nutes. There's also an Amnesia Lemon sold by Barneys and the Amnesia coffeeshop which is another big yielding lemon smelling but weak tasting bland potency Amnesia hybrid.

South is the amnesia on the right and SSH on the left? Hard to tell because one is a top and one is a lower bud, but the fat structure of the right one and the slightly golden hue makes me think Amnesia.

Thing is when amnesia is cropped early and fresh not cured it has the light green rather than golden hue, so could be the one on the left, but my guess is the one on the right!

No, it is not. My information comes direct from Moppel


Piff, the SLH varies quite a lot, I just cut one that had less lemon than the Amnesia, very nice Sativa, quick flowering, but in the pack you will find something like the Amnesia, but more lemony...like the cut they keep on entering and winning cups with. This year it could only manage second, but many times it has beaten the Amnesia cut in open competition including the IC420.

You shouldn't doubt yourself piff! Correct in thinking the more golden (right hand side) is the ammo!

Both of those samples are uk grown, and have been curing for about the same time (2ish months)

I have sitting infront of me a SSH flower and an amnesia flower. Ill post a pic and see if ne1 can tell the dif! They both look similar, the major differences are to be found in taste and smell. I could easily believe that these two are sisters.



Also, mate dave i know what u mean about the 4 main dutch haze cuts. A dutch friend of mine has the ssh and the slh. Those 2 also look VERY similar but slh is slightly smaller in stature, the flowers tend to look more resinous earlier than the ssh, also i rekon the slh is rather a lot weaker than either the ammo or the ssh.

Yes they look similar I think from that pictured most tha Ammo here is the chunky bud not the sperar shaped one it's too light in colour for what we get here. The lemon is more pointed..

Yes the Ammo is the most Potent but the Lemon SSH has a much more bag appeal on the streets.

Sorry, I am not being clear.... I played no part in the story at all.

The "Core cut" is the Core/Moppel cut, Moppel gave it to Core, they both passed it around but Core got name checked more and it became better known as the Core cut for that reason, nothing more.

Moppel is still on here regularly and can give a better account of the exact history from where he personally got it, but he told me it was from the hypro guy as has almost every other person around. I spoke to hypro face to face and he told me the "it was my own genetics" story, contradicting what he had already told Moppel and others (well known here on ic)

I personally believe that it was the result of a large selection, 10% of SSH are that potent, 10% of SSH are monster yielders, 10% of SSH are mega lemony, 10% of SSH are finished in 9/10 weeks, so if you start with a few hundred SSH you will find "the plant that has everything " in there.

AFAIK the hypro seeds are all fems, so a S1 of the hypro /moppel/core cut would be my guess.

I have seen 5 different 10 packs of Hy-Pro Amnesia grown out and they show males on every generation so I can't believe they are all Fem'd Chaos.. I talk with Moppel most days Chaos I know him well I'll bring it up again when I see him.. He said he was partly responsible for passing it about before he moved to sunnier climates like yourself....

I believe the Haze Skunk NL is the pinnacle of modern cannabis, every form it comes in is outstanding and comparable to nothing I have seen other than it's sisters...

They are all good strains. I know that I prefer the Psychosis and I know that Nelly is the best in winter.. But I would grow cheese in the 1m2 cos it's a more confined plant and SOG it will do the best.. Should be able to hit 1.2 oz per plant with that setup and a 400w if you move it about a bit coxnox..

You won't get 3 per plant on any of those cuttings bro not in a 1m2 tent.

Been there and tried for years and years.. Your best to get them tents cropping a month apart to maximise profits and limit your stink... 600 w is too much for a 1m2 and not enough for a 2m2 tent.. I didn't notice that you had a 2m2 tent. Or have you 2x 1m2 tents?

If I told you you will struggle to pull 3 ounce of any of those plants even in coco, without more nodes some stem manipulation and grouping into monocultures I can't see it...

I'm sure you will do well tho and the smoke will be outstanding coxnox.. Tent of flavours...
