Hey Pipeline, I challenge you to tell me one thing you disagree with Infowars or President Trump about. Anything. Just one.

Trump’s DOJ Targeting Tech Giants With Anti-Trust Probe

Unprecedented review set to rock tech industry

Infowars.com - July 23, 2019 Comments

The Justice Department is opening a broad anti-trust review to determine if Silicon Valley’s Big Tech giants are unlawfully hindering competition.
The new review will “go above and beyond” to examine the business practices of industry giants like Facebook, Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Amazon, and Apple, according to The Wall Street Journal.
“The Justice Department will examine issues including how the most dominant tech firms have grown in size and might—and expanded their reach into additional businesses,” DoJ officials told the WSJ Tuesday. “The Justice Department also is interested in how Big Tech has leveraged the powers that come with having very large networks of users.”
“There is no defined end-goal yet for the Big Tech review other than to understand whether there are anti-trust problems that need addressing, but a broad range of options are on the table,” added the officials. “The department’s inquiry could eventually lead to more focused investigations of specific company conduct.”
This “broad range” approach is setting the stage for investigators to examine all company practices, not just ones relevant to anti-trust issues.
“The [DOJ] won’t ignore other company practices that may raise concerns about compliance with other laws,” said DOJ officials.
This story is developing.

I don't like the budget with increasing debt, and the possibility of engaging in new foreign wars. Looks like war with Iran may be coming.

I just read this disappointing article. If the dollar loses its place as the world's reserve currency, its going to hurt the US.

JP Morgan Warns: ‘Dollar Could Lose Status As World’s Dominant Currency’

America’s largest bank sounds alarm in face of skyrocketing debt, rise of China

JPMorgan’s Private Bank released a statement to investors warning that not only could the dollar lose its world reserve currency status, but could also “lose its status as the world’s dominant currency.”
In its July investment strategy report, America’s largest bank warned that the dollar’s “exorbitant privilege” as the world’s reserve currency could be “coming to an end.”
“The U.S. dollar (USD) has been the world’s dominant reserve currency for almost a century. As such, many investors today, even outside the United States, have built and become comfortable with sizable USD overweights in their portfolios,” wrote JP Morgan’s Commodities and Rates Strategist Craig Cohen.
“However, we believe the dollar could lose its status as the world’s dominant currency (which could see it depreciate over the medium term) due to structural reasons as well as cyclical impediments.”

The report goes on to say that the downfall of the dollar as the world reserve currency is inevitable given historical trends, and suggests allocating assets to other markets, particularly Asia.
“There is nothing to suggest that the dollar dominance should remain in perpetuity. In fact, the dominant international currency has changed many times throughout history going back thousands of years as the world’s economic center has shifted.”
In fact, JP Morgan’s Chairman of Market and Investment Strategy Michael Cemblast created a graph in 2012 breaking down the world reserve currencies since the 15th century in an effort to highlight the inevitability of the dollar’s decline as the global currency.

Notably, it seems to indicate the U.S. Dollar losing its status sometime in the early 21st century.
The report comes as President Trump and Congress agreed on a bipartisan two-year $2.7 trillion spending package that does nothing to address the bloated spending or national debt, and totally suspends the borrowing limit.
Economist Peter Schiff noted that the budget deal flies in the face of conservative principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility.

Additionally, central banks around the world, including China and Russia, hit a gold ownership-high in April, with gold purchases spiking by 75% in the last year alone to hedge against a volatile dollar.
As long as the dollar is backed by nothing but the Federal Reserve System of credit, countries around the world will continue to hedge against the dollar while the $21 trillion U.S. national debt keeps ticking up.

Bitcoin will pound the US dollar in the ass....

From what Infowars has been saying, bitcoin will likely go under, but will be replaced with another similar cryptocurrency. Facebook is coming out with some sort of currency to help exchanges on their platform, and it could even be used!

Wild times right now. I wish some level heads would run the country correctly. In my opinion the government needs to be altered or abolished and a new government created which is run correctly according to constitutional limitations.

You shouldn't listen to infowars (but i know you will, it's an infowars thread :biglaugh: ).... Bitcoin is not going under, it is a global public ledger.

Yeah, all things can fail, but Bitcoin has it's tentacles spread wide and deep.... governments can't control it.

The same could be said for the Bible and the Koran, but they're both full of shit too.

Any halfway prominent website that profits by making shit up out of whole cloth will get people talking, but that's not a good thing.

You didn't answer my question. Your examples weren't a disagreement with Infowars or President Trump.

What is something that President Trump or Infowars EXPLICITLY support that you do not? Is there anything? Even one thing?

I suspect there is not, because you are incapable of thinking for yourself. I'm open to being shown that I'm wrong, though.

Well - not everyone takes infowars seriously including yourself - and anything 'made-up' can easily be disproved - with a bit of research - so I don't see the harm in it - unless people automatically take anything broadcast on infowars as being the truth -

Its the same with the bible or the qu'ran - once some research is done -
