Peter Schiff Slams Fed Over Coming Recession

It doesn’t matter what Fed does with rates cuts, he says

Jerome Powell took center stage last week and the Federal Reserve chair didn’t do anything to dampen expectations of a rate cut. His comments sent both stocks and gold higher.
Peter Schiff recently appeared on RT Boom Bust with University of Amherst economics professor Richard Wolff to talk about the Fed and its impact on the markets. Pete said no matter what the Fed does, a recession is coming.
Peter opened the interview saying the main reason the Fed is cutting rates is to try to keep the air from coming out of the stock market bubble.
“The other reason is they’re trying to keep this so-called expansion going. There they’re going to fail. I think we’re headed for recession regardless of what the Fed does with rates. The only thing the Fed is going to succeed in doing is reviving inflation. The Fed claims inflation is too low and they want to make sure the rate goes up. Well, that’s going to be their only success. But unfortunately, that’s also going to be their biggest failure.”
Wolff agreed with Peter’s view that a downturn is coming, noting that we are overdue for a recession. He said the sudden dovish turn by the Fed is a “desperate move” by to try to postpone the downturn until after the 2020 election.
The host mentioned a tweet Peter put out during Powell’s trip to Capitol Hill.

Peter said he never heard the question asked, but it would have been a great way to put Powell on the spot and ask him if he agrees with the president.
“The president tweets every day that we have the strongest economy in history, which isn’t even close to being true. But clearly, Powell doesn’t believe that the economy is the strongest in history, because if he did, he’d be raising rates, not cutting them.”
Peter said this isn’t even a good economy.

“It’s a bubble. Powell doesn’t seem to understand that. He seems to think the economy is doing OK. It’s not. The economy today is in worse shape than it was before it collapsed in 2008. The Fed inflated a much bigger bubble this time than it did last time. And yes, the longer we succeed in kicking the can down the road, the greater the imbalances grow as a result of this bubble, and the more painful it is when the air comes out. And that’s what’s going to happen. And what’s going to be so much worse about the coming recession is that it’s going to be inflationary. We’re going to have stagflation except it’s going to be a recession, not just stagnation, and the inflation rate is going to be far higher than it was the last time we had stagflation, which was in the 1970s.”
There was also a discussion about Fed “independence” and Pres. Trump’s efforts to bully Powell into cutting rates. Wolff called it “extraordinary theater.” Peter said Fed independence has always been a pretense.
“It was created to be independent, but it has actually acted as an arm of government. To the extent that we can no longer maintain that pretense, that is a very dangerous position to be in. But I agree with Trump that the Fed is doing a bad job — but because they didn’t keep raising rates. Rates are still much too low. The Fed needs to raise interest rates. The Fed needs to allow this expansion to come to an end because it’s unhealthy. It’s a bubble. The Fed has to let the stock market go down, let the real estate market go down, let the bond market go down, and force the US government to cut spending. That’s what needs to happen. But by keeping interest rates artificially low, they support increased government spending, they support these asset bubbles that are undermining the real economy and that are laying the foundation for the next economic crisis which will be much worse than the last one and for which there will be no bailouts.”
Peter was also asked about Powell’s take on the gold standard.
“Well, the chairman’s response is typical. If we were on a gold standard, he’d be out of a job.”
He went on to explain that the economy actually fared much better under a gold standard. But it was the US that ultimately took the world off the gold standard and put it on a dollar standard.
“This coming dollar collapse is going to bring the world back onto the gold standard. Because when they reject the dollar, they will embrace gold, and gold will once again serve as the primary reserve asset for currencies around the world.”

One of the biggest issues is the Nation’s expensive debt. In high school, I saw our surplus turn into debt, and now it has grown larger than the GDP.
The federal government is set up to protect our rights. How is it they are able to protect our rights, when they are accumulating such debt? The federal government is enslaving the American people, and they are certainly not securing liberty! Its becoming destructive…
Need to restore the constitutional republic. Where to start? This seems to be a good place.
Ignore the false accusations of racism. We HAVE TO move on.

This has been coming for a long time. The "trade war" is simply the use of tariffs, which is leverage to promote our economy over nations with cheaper overhead or inputs like labor and tax. The fed has not been good stewards of the US Dollar and Economic tools such as setting the interest rate. We need to Audit the Fed to find out what they have been doing with the American People's money.

What do you think a reasonable interest rate is? I believe it is way low and should be up near 5%, we shouldnt be manipulating the markets with the low rates.

The tax cut added quite a bit of debt and the positive effects didnt really flow down to the working man, yet they are the ones that will be on the hook for it and have services that benefit them cut as there is no money.

It’s been the story for a long, long time: our wonderful billionaires in the US have far more in common with third-world dictators, war-criminals, Kings, princes, and the bin Laden family than they do with the bottom 70% Of the US population. They see no reason to hold back from profit on moral or ethical grounds, including maintaining the survivability of of life in this country.

As for the taxpayers, their boys in Congress will keep giving money to the already-permanently-wealthy at every opportunity, they will continue to saddle the lower-middle- and upper-working-class with the shortfall, then scream about the deficit they just BLEW UP...and continue to blame liberals, Democrats, minorities, socialists, etc - as usual.

Jesuits Called for an Emergency Session to Exorcise the Demoncrats in Congress

‘This has been a difficult and contentious week in which darker spirits seem to have been at play in the people’s House’

Leo Zagami | Infowars.com - July 19, 2019 Comments

As we all know, on Sunday Trump went on Twitter to tell four Congress members from the extreme left of the Democratic Party to “go back” to the “corrupt” countries they came from. The four representatives in question are Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). After Trump’s Tweet, the Demoncrat-controlled House of Representatives passed a resolution on Tuesday evening condemning President Trump’s remarks from last weekend, describing them as “racist”.
The situation has become so tense in Congress that the Vatican Jesuits had to intervene directly for an unprecedented exorcism. Reverend Patrick Conroy SJ, an American lawyer and a Jesuit priest who is serving as the 60th Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives, and another Jesuit priest prayed to “cast out all spirits of darkness” on the House floor this morning, something extremely unusual.
“This has been a difficult and contentious week in which darker spirits seem to have been at play in the people’s House,” Father Conroy prayed, “In your most holy name, I now cast out all spirits of darkness from this chamber. Spirits not from You.”

“I cast out the spirit of discouragement, which deadens the hope of those who are of good will,” he added. ” I cast out the spirit of petty divisiveness, which clouds the sense and the desire to be of fruitful productivity in addressing the issues more appropriately before this House. I cast out any sadness brought on by the frustration of dealing with matters detrimental to the honorable work each member has been called to engage in.”
Father Conroy SJ then prayed to God to “anoint your servants here in the House with a healing balm to comfort and renew the souls of all in this assembly.”
“May your spirit of wisdom and patience descend upon all so that any spirit of darkness might have no place in our midst,” he added.
Father Conroy SJ delivered his first prayer as House Chaplain back in the Obama era, on May 26, 2011 and since then he has, of course, been closer to the Democrats, as all Jesuits usually are. Satan and his Legion are obviously trying in every way to take control of Congress to attack Donald J. Trump, thanks to Demoncrats like Ocasio-Cortez. The situation is obviously out of control as more than two dozen Democrats who hadn’t previously taken a position voted on Wednesday to advance a measure to impeach the President over his racist attack on their colleagues.
House Democrat impeachment support has gained new momentum despite Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s attempts to halt the effort, as she seems the only one that is not completely possessed. I would like to invite my readers to check out my latest book Confessions of an Illuminati Vol.6.66 on the Exorcism subject in relation to the Jesuits to understand more on this epic Spiritual Warfare that has now reached the highest levels of society in the United States.
In the meantime, a new poll indicates that Republicans actually like Trump more after the Tweet controversy. God is on our side, Amen.

Its whatever the market determines the rate to be. Supply of money and demand for loans plays into it. There will be some pain when the numbers aren't what we want it to be, but that's the beauty of the free market. It is self correcting, self adjusting.

“The President Won This One”: House Dem Admits Defeat on Trump’s War With ‘The Squad’

“What the President has done is politically brilliant”

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com - July 19, 2019 Comments

A House Democrat admitted to CNN that Donald Trump came out on top in his war with ‘the squad’ – acknowledging “the President won this one”.
Trump has been put on blast all week after tweeting that some Democrats, presumably Ilhan Omar – need to go back and fix the problems in their own countries before lecturing America.
This prompted ‘the squad’ to give a press conference denouncing Trump’s behavior as racist and at a subsequent Trump rally his supporters chanted “send her back”.
However, many Democrats are privately frustrated that Trump has pulled off a political masterstroke by making Omar – who has a favorability of 9% amongst swing Dem voters – the face of the party.
Some House Democrats are “quietly expressing” their concerns about how Trump has helped to ensure “far-left progressives have outsized influence in their caucus”.
“The President won this one,” one Dem lawmaker told CNN. “What the President has done is politically brilliant. Pelosi was trying to marginalize these folks, and the President has now identified the entire party with them”.
As I explain in the video below, far from damaging Trump’s 2020 chances, the spat with ‘the squad’ was a stroke of genius.

That is one weird and convoluted way to look at it, but basically what that means is, he did nothing but highlight the more progressive voices with his racist garbage.... CNN and those TV media don't like the more progressive people and favor Joe Biden types, because they are all rich and don't like progressive type taxes.... so what they see as 'bad' is actually good.
Jesus christ.... you guys think that us people who see through Trumps BS and can't stand him all have a Trump derangement, but you deep Trump cultists will look for any stupid thing he does as a 'stroke of genius' :biglaugh:

When he didn't know how to close the umbrella, so just dropped it on the airplane steps you were probably in awe and cheering and golf clapping 'Ohhhh, how gallant.... how alpha he is'

I’ll just add that this is Nader’s FOURTH US arrest, including a charge of sneaking a 12-year-old Czech boy into the US *as his sex slave*. And point out that Nader was a player in the Trump transition, named more than 100 times in the Mueller report, and one of the most-frequent WH visitors during the first year, regularly getting appointments with top Trump people.

Oh, YEAH...he also served TEN YEARS in a Czech Republic prison for sexual abuse of minors.
