Ended up taking down the Chitrali on Friday. Zero botrytis found. I will jar some for flower and the rest will be hung up to make hash some cold night this winter. Already found a few random bagseeds, some are very small and are very dark so likely from the male Chitrali next to her that flowered very early (assume the larger ones are from the nearby Karakoram males). I left two selectively pollinated branches on the main stem and hope to get some good seeds from those.

Aside from moderate susceptibility to Septoria, the plants were easy keepers and I would definitely grow this strain again -

On the one hand it is exciting that we have so many landrace to explore, on the other hand it's kinda depressing as one always feels well... late and unfulfilled because you haven't completed all your projects.
I'm with you man ,I've grown Kumaoni but haven't successfully grown Nanda Devi. Next season I'm definitely gonna grow the rest of my Nanda devi seeds and you should pop some of those Kumaoni seeds. Just be sure you have some room it's a giant

Consider reproducing the landraces pure
Yes absolutely, that's always my fist priority. I like to do a controlled open pollination by collecting pollen from all the males mixing it and pollinating a few buds on all the females. I only exclude a plant if it's a obvious dud. This way you are preserving all the diversity. You might not know what you have until it's gone if you don't, It's quite likely that there are phenos that haven't expressed yet .I might start making selections as well

I got two phenos when making the f2. One sativa ,skunk ,lanky, airy flower ,fruity smelling pheno and a indica short ,tight golf ball flower, fruity smelling hindu pheno. Also crossed it to a cannarado margelope. Growing those out now.
How was the high from the sativa leaning pheno?

Attempting to germinate a few of TRSC Kasi from Angus. I got these before he pulled them off the site however. They were initially listed as Thai stick like and similar if not better than the Mango Thai, no expectations so its anyones guess. I asked him why he pulled them and he said it was germination issues and offered to credit me but I never got around to it.

Interesting I've grew khalifa genetic’s Moroccan Belida last season and the year before and had absolutely no mold out side in humid rainy conditions

That it was situated in a humid plastic greenhouse and was a bit later then the rest probably did not help it.

To bad, because I really liked the spicy smells on this plant. Would be interesting to grow it all the way out.

I had two other mold magnets: UEL and Dart. But it didn't seem to bother most of the other plants (Viking x Ierdbei/Brainwash/Friesland), who did have no or just a little bit of mold.

I've had a Bluehemp-repro Maroc Inspiration before in the same greenhouse (also a Moroccan landrace) and it also performed better. Same with hybrids like Purple Maroc. Maybe I'll try Beldia next year.

Could be these strains are different or more worked for wet climates?

Or I just happen to have a shitty pheno or bad caretaking from my part.

Kwik seeds Congo x C99 x PCK turned out a very nice plant. Very NLD sativa structure, huge stretch, loose but big buds that are too heavy for the thin stems, rotten fruit smells, quite some trichromes and a bit of purple in the end. Probably done in about 10-11 weeks. Hope the S1 will turn out the same. A smoke report will follow later.

Harvested it and it turned out to be a great producer. Bit fluffy buds, but harvested a full weckpot a plant in microgrow setting. For sure a gram per watt.

After drying it turns a bit dark colour. The smell is fruity, spicy, but not too strong.

Potent plant. Really has a great high. Little bit of bodystone, but with a very mellow/relaxed, uplifting, clear "sativa" effect. No paranoia or other negative effects; very balanced. It stays like this for a few hours and goes away with no comedown. The Congo really comes through with this one.

Harvested a bunch of S1 seeds also from this strain. So I hope the offspring is simular.

How long of a cure did you give the buds before sampling it? I’m waiting to try 3 Cindy and 3 Colombia 90/ Colombia mix right now but I’m getting impatient haha
