- The majority of seeds will sprout fast ie less than 2 weeks,
- some other seeds though can take up to two months to germinate. This was the case for me with some seeds from Nanda devi, several times. Also specifically in the case of Nanda Devi, you need to factor in that she has a wild component which reinforces that domancy mechanism.
- Other seeds still can take anywhere from 6 months up to 3 years to germinate. I've had that with one of the first Nepalese release from RSC. The seeds didn't sprout after i sowed them and I thought they were dead - but it was ok because I got them as freebies. Still I recycled the soil I used to germinate them into one single pot. Imagine my surprise when 6 months later one seed sprouted. The process continued like that for several years, usually one, two or three seeds sprouting at a time several months later each time and the last 'living' seed sprouted 3 years after I had originally sown them. These seeds are really tough !

Lesson learned, in my area (lowland NE Thailand) the rule really needs to be stuck to when growing outdoors, to get things going by August so as to harvest by February at the latest, its is often too hot by April and in May is like being in an oven, I don't think any tropical sativa can deal with this heat, we may have had 110 degrees four days ago, its really been bad, the village water supply dried up three weeks ago (we had a tank of spare water though) as well better be growing peyote or other cactus if you want to grow in May. Glad i still have plenty of seeds, hope they'll be able to hanging in there till July when I'll plant again.
Very sad that this plant did not turn out well. She did not get planted till novemeber, when she should have been planted in August. The problem has been heat, over three weeks of 105-108 degree temeratures, often 90 degrees plus at midnight. This plant did very well until three days ago when it began going over the 105 degree mark and she just threw in the towel at that point. I took her down today and 90 percent of the bud material has turned brown. No sign of fungus, its just that the bud has died from the heat. This is a very strong strain just she was not in good hands, I planted her far too late, had a late start germinating seeds and was not lucky with that process, took three goes to get something going but the most productive plant I have grown and two months of 95 degree heat under clear skies did not seem eto phase her, she seemed to relish it in fact.

Wow really ? When I tried it, the two females I got were all about earthy funk. I was totally disappointed then. Good to know you can find exotic fruits in them !

I grew one seed just to get an idea of what to expect. I wouldn’t consider the plant a keeper in my garden but I will definitely make f2. Smells in flower were bland until the very end, then smells transformed into sour citrus fruit. After drying , smells and flavors are straight ammonia cat piss sour earth. Plant was cut down at week 8 things could have been different if flowered to 9 weeks.
High is racy, clear and energetic. It hasn’t put me to sleep yet.

In 2022 I opened a five pack of Cider Kush from RSC. I sat on the pack too long and only got one seed to grow and it turned out to be a male.
I'm only growing one plant this spring as I am in the process of moving. This plant is a cross using the male Cider Kush and a couple of OG Kush females from Oregon Green Seed. This is the first I've grown from the cross. I also hit some PCK with the Cider Kush pollen.

That's funny I poped three Cider kush from my pack in 2022 they all were females , bummer. I didn't think to make any hybrids .I just figured I grow the rest out and make seeds one year lol, on the list
As soon as the seeds land I'll be popping 24 of the Kwik seeds C99. Focus will be on the males.

My own cross. I had hoped to make some Cider kush seeds but only had one male so I crossed it to two OG kush I had in the garden. The OG kush weren't pure but were a backcross made by Oregon Green Seed using the Dr. Greenthumb Ghost OG and the Dr Greenthumb Iranian auto flower.
Now that I think about it, the Iranian auto flower could be the reason my cross is flowering! Duh.
This is one of the girls I used. Funny thing is it started to flower at the end of August in 2022 at the same time the Cider kush dropped his pollen.

Yes the receive auto-flower trait has popped back up. Makes it it easy if your breeding auto but not so much for photoperiod
