Got some Chitrali too to test and wasn't sure whether to try them indoors or outdoors first...thinking outdoors now.

13ft is big enough. Already feeling slightly uneasy about my taller Lebanese at around 7ft lol!

your welcome only thing i will say out of the strains i listed the chitrali had least resistance to mold for me ,, far from weak , they were grown in a very damp cold enviroment none less lost parts of the plants the others seemed bullit proof

yeah if they get the time they can get tall.

a few years back I was workintg on the f2 of a cross I made with kumaoni. planted a few at guerilla, 'thinking they might still end up too late but hoping at least a few seeds could come out of the earliest ones.
didn't visit the spot since plantout, and when I came back, half expecting to find nothing, there was this tree towering above me. I guess about 2-2,5 metres at that point, but it was still in veg so next visit it was even bigger, more like 3-3,5 metres I think. all I know was that it was clearly bigger then myself, about similar height as some (relatively young) trees around the spot.
sturdy upright stem, kind of long internodes, and great vigour, together with being late(so more time in veg before internodes shorten) will do that.
but it also did it without any fertilizer, just planted straight into the soil at the guerilla spot, and no watering(this spot has a high watertable so it's normal for plants to make it without watering, but still they likely won't have enough water for optimal growth all summer, so with optimal watering it likely could have been bigger).

unfortunatly this plant started flowering way too late to ever finish around here(52-53 degrees north), but it did give me a fun pic so it was worth it.

pic on the first visit:

^ Two Balkhi females. Just under four feet high but plenty of branching and they are stacking up great. Already flowering; hoping they finish by the end of next month.

RSC Waziri - first one around 55" and second around 65". They were about a week slower than the Balkhi to get busy flowering. Intense lime aromas!

I wonder if highland type varietals should be grown at 2-3000m elevation

I grew Parvarti last year almost at sea level, right by the ocean - pretty much the opposite environment they're used too - and they did great. No mold whatsoever, despite the heavy rains.

I can't believe how fast your Friesland has grown Star Crash those buds are going to blow up a lot bigger for you . Mine are as big around as my leg and I'm not a small person .

Nice work on the grow buddy
