Ok so my high ass edited the original post instead of making a new one lol

lets try that again..

Changed my mind we are sticking to the plan, 9 week chop.. ill start water on Wednesday... flowering is one week ahead and is veg is like two weeks ahead.. 10/14 finishes them out fast..

ladies and gents, what is this deficiency?
my hunch is the because I'm using new coco (not reused/rebuff) the coco is causing an imbalance early on.. because the new growth is good and green..

you have a Magnesium deficiency!!! the first thing to go wrong in pretty much ANY grow. very easy to fix.

you can either use a CalMag supplement OR buy a bag of Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) on Amazon. I recently bought an 8 pound bag for around $8.00. i highly recommend buying some! its very cheap and easy to use. you can either add it to your nutrient water and get it into the plant through the roots OR, what i like to do, take 1/4 teaspoon and dissolve it in 1 gallon of water, and spray the underside of the leaves. do that once every 3 or 4 days and they'll green up. no more interveinal chlorosis.

i am not into long flowering times, this life has a certain number of grows left. The breeders have done enough work that i can’t try everything i find interest in and now as the access to clones increases I am collecting cuts like stamps hoping to find two dozen flavors with the right checks in the right boxes. Its a great time to be growing. I have relearned one thing this year for sure, i need three flower rooms.

Stripes in the upper leaves are historically recorded as Manganese. The prevalence of these signs since LEDs became common, and my own findings, lead me away from this.
Stripes can be for many reasons.
Mg is a high possibility. This should be seen on lower leaves first, as in some pics it is. I believe it can also start higher up, especially if the oldest of the lower leaves have already gone.
ah yes the initial cation exchange thats right.. thanks fe

Thanks sir :good:

.. I'll try some bio-stims that I have on hand.. the organix has cal + mag..

are you in the US? you gotta get some better nutrients!

Lol..

That's:
pure humic acid (increase the permeability of cell walls, making it easier for fulvic acids to carry nutrients into the plant.

yucca powder (wetting agent

fulvic + fish + kelp ( plus micros + tri indole acetic acid + cytokinins. Chelator

Plant derived amino acids aka chelators that bind to calcium and improve uptake to the growing tips.. as calcium is immobile..

What I usually add and you don't see in the pic is a steak of Aloe Vera from my garden, which I blend up and strain into the 'soup..

What does the aloe vera do? 🤨

The plants pray after application.. plus

from coot
A few properties of Aloe Vera

Amino Acid

Aloe Vera contains the following Amino Acids: Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Valine, And Tryptophan, Alanine, Arginine, Asparagine, Cysteine, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Proline, Serine, Tyrosine, Glutamine, And Aspartic Acid.

Enzymes

Those include the following: Amylase, Bradykinase, Catalase, Cellulase, Lipase, Oxidase, Alkaline Phosphatase, Proteolytiase, Creatine Phosphokinase and Carboxypeptidase.

Micro & Micro Nutrients

These include Vitamins A, C, E and B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 in addition to Choline, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Magnanese, Chromium, Selenium, Copper, Iorn, Potassium, Phosphorus and Sodium.

Lingnins & Polysaccharides

They include: Galactose, Xylose, Arabinose, Acetylated Mannose And Acemannan.

And of course there's the Salicylic acid compound and its associated benefits as far as root development. Adding 1/4 cup of Aloe Vera juice/extract/whatever term you want to use to 1 gallon of water and use that to wet your rooting medium - even Grodan Rockwool cubes - will give you root size and development that is nothing short of amazing. Or at least in my experience.

from this thread ALOE VERA

I've used fresh aloe as rooting gel and got good results too:joint:

the biological inputs I used at 1/4 strength, they can be potent and contain plant hormones.. the aloe I use @ half a steak for 10L.. the aloe is acidic and so is the humic so its best not to affect the pH so much.. you can use the potassium silicate as a pH up to.. try to nail your recipe and keep the pH probe out of the 'soup'

Nice! I happen to have a surplus of aloe plants, so will try adding some to the water when repotting.
