In search of Florida Crippy

To be honest as a local yokel I never heard or came across TK in my smoke history in FL till getting online or maybe that was just my county we got shafted a lot, I too find it funny when people claim to have smoked a FLA strain and their description sounds just like the one before it just reworded. I proudly admit that I was just a buyer at the time with a really solid connect. Just enjoying the stories, bs, old talk, an convo.

Ive bought some Crippy in Puerto Rico a couple of times and it is some great smoke. Im just not sure how the buds of the Florida Crippy look like.

There are various strains in P.R including some og types and everything in between. There are sativa dominant plants in the mix because Ive personally grown out a couple of the seeds I find in low quality outdoor they sell at the points in P.R

My first encounter with P.R crippy was somewhat shocking since I was not aware that bud was easily accessible in P.R and I was definitely not aware that prime sincemilla neon green sticky icky flowers were available. The price added to my surprise since a $20 gets you about .5-.6 max of genuine Crippy. Lets not forget that these are prices at the point meaning that prices fluctuate depending on quality and demand with prices ranging from $12,24, or rarely broken down to "dimes" $10 but the Crippy is ALWAYS $20 for a measly .5-.7 ish no lie.

Crippy is a pure Sativa, at least P.R Crippy is. Ir smells of pure Pine and Limon, its a pungent smell like Jack Herrer type or some Green Crack aka Cush but pure Sativa. It is neon green like a highlighter you would think it would glow in the dark, lime in a way with no type of discoloration or dark spots, uniform green (no purples or deeper greens in the bud). The high is top great, energetic and slightly trippy. One forgets about the tropical heat that is present in P.R 24/7. It is a great Sativa. Perfect beach weed! Ive never had enough to smoke continually but this weed feels like you would start sweating and enter that heart pounding sativa ride if you smoked a whole joint alone.

I know this cut is still there or seed. Im thinking its a cut since Ive managed to get my hands on some like 3 times on separate occasions in the span of like 4 years so its definitely there. Now the only thing about this is the identifying it or locating it. If one asks for Crippy you will be offered the best flowers that person is selling at the moment but that might not be real Crippy since sometimes people call ANY great weed Crippy it becomes harder to find Crippy Crippy now what Im saying? Its on the island it is called Crippy, it is top shelf smoke.

Is it "Florida" Crippy is it "Puerto Rico" Crippy? I have no idea all I know is that Crippy is a Sativa that will fuark you up. No pics but those flowers will eventually creep up on me and ill be ready to snap some pics of these illusive bud.

Florida is within swimming distance of P.R

His clone came from me and it's a PURE KUSH s1. Fuck RD. I hate this thread, it's the proliferation of useless misinformation and baseless comparisons. I wish a mod would close this thread so people would stop asking me stupid questions that arise from all the misinformation in this thread. Damn broken record and people still trying to figure out what song it is. SMDH

That sucks , blatant mislabeling on RD's part.

the original cut that started it all.

That's not the original crippy cut.... not a bad looking nug has a slight look to it that may have crippy in it possibly but it is 100% not the crippy clone from the 80s.... completely different look structure in veg n flowers never get that round look ever... they look for lack of a better word kushy... crippy is not OG!!! just a pri
Piece to the og puzzle..... how big IDK n have no idea... I wouldn't be surprised if og was either 91chem X crippy or a( 91X crippy) X cross..

i never claimed it to be the crippy cut. crippy is just a term for dank herb that supa slapped on a clip for attention, imo i think he renamed the tk or and tks1.

The Clip i have was sent from gainesville to Clearlake, Ca in 1994. I dont care what people say about the clip i have, its been verified and came from a more legit source than the josh d crew since he didnt get the cut till at least 94'.

i didnt have the OG dialed when i grew it. the pics below are not mine but are the same exact clip from same source.

Bro, I know exactly your situation, I came here because I was searching that original Florida crippy from the mid to late 90’s to early 2000s. Everyone has said Over the last decade that Hurricane Jeanne and frances wiped out the fields of it that they had and the strain is no longer. But it is the best weed I ever smoked. And I been to Cali and Colorado. Nothing tops that original Florida crippy man and it’s very depressing

I wish I could get that TKorigins cut, that with some Josh D OG & some NL5×Haze grown under the Florida sun for several generations and you come close with the proper pheno selection...playing around some of that Supa Kauai kids Crippy might prove to be useful from a breeding standpoint (not sure how much I believe it to be the actual stuff we were smoking, but probably related, possibly even closely).

I got a crippy pheno like pheno out of a DNA genetics Florida OG seed. Real knock out stuff. Hits you right as you toke it though, not creeper. Strongest smoke I've ever toked.

self sufficient-what did your pheno smell like?

From DNA's Florida OG, popped 2 seeds, got 2 drastically different phenos. One grew into an enormous plant with a very high yield and had a colombian sativa growth structure. It has the most unique smell I've come across! The stem rub was so loud and sticky: like pungent lemony sweet pine. However, the buds were almost odorless until the very end! It has a pine and plant chemical aroma that I can't quite put into words. Haven't tried it yet. Crappy pics don't do this justice, but you can get a sense for the flower structure:

Here's the other individual, which was a runt. Still yielded decent all things considered. Fresh flowers smelled like plastic and earthy skunk, but in a very good way.
