In need of some advice

I have been saving for a long time to build an out building with an 8x8 grow room in it. Well the time has finally come and my dream will soon be my reality. Work begins next week and I won't have to buy my meds anymore. I can produce my own for me and my sister who has Parkinsons.
Problem is I am a complete rookie when it comes to growing. I have been reading and trying to absorb everything I can for the last two months. I live in the PNW and was leaning towards led lighting. I have the means to do whatever I need to to be successful. I need to know everything necessary I will be needing so I can begin to get things together. I know there are many very intelligent growers here and was hoping someone could assist me with the essentials I need . Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Buddy go the the Indoor Hydro and Soil forum also the New Grower forum. There are plenty of seasoned growers on the forums to get you in the right direction. My advice to you is to continue to read as much as you can on the subject. Find a system you are comfortable with and learn how to dial it in. Read on the different Nutrients there are so many of them, and find one you would like to try and learn how to use it. You can not jump from nutrient to nutrient because you will end up chasing your own tail trust me. Ask plenty of questions to the veterans. There are no dumb questions but if you don't ask you will be doing dumb shit and most of all wasting money. This is just my novice 2 cents. Good luck.

My Advice is take at least a month before pulling the trigger on anything and price things out. Basically the search engines don't always give you the best deals on stuff.

They have a lot of good people and info here I would keep reading and asking questions.
