Welcome back Ur Humbl Nr8tor :)

It's been a long time friend, hope you have been doing fine. :huggg:

A pleasure to see you back, and still growing the Haze x Thais to their full potential! Both the green and purple Haze x Thai look stellar, really chunky nugs for a extreme tropical sativa hybrid of this kind, and giant and abundant trichomes as well, without any doubt, some of the best outcome we have seen around here with these 2 old limited editions, thanks a lot for keeping them alive, brings really nice memories.

Wish you enjoy your well deserved sativa harvest this winter, and please keep us updated in 2020 with your new ACE Haze adventures ;)
Really curious to know your opinion about how the Haze hybrids from Nevil compare with the Oldtimer's Haze hybrids you know so well.

Thanks GenevaSativa.

Happy New Year, dubi. Thanks for the kind words. The green OTH x MT is burping in a glass jar. The purple OTH x MT is finishing up and should be chopped soon. Both will receive nice and proper cures before a true smoke report, but I have a few little buds that may find their way into a joint for an early representation. I have an OTH seedling as well purple haze x Malawi and a Malawi S1 that need to be up potted. Those are along with some super silver sour diesel haze and I’m trying a few of the old DJ F-13’s. I still want to see the F13 find it’s way into a marriage with some of your haze. Same with some old Blueberry if I ever get around to popping them. I will pop a few of the Nevilles crosses as soon as I can find out where I put the bag of beans. They didn’t make it into my seed vault and I am obviously too clever for my own good in putting them away. Looking forward to lots of fun in 2020 and I have my eye on quite a bit of your gear not currently in my possession. More to come...

Curing GHxThai. Aromas are spicy old school haze, incense with citrus and astringent background. Jars are just now around 65% humidity. Bovita 62% packet to be added in the next day or so and then a nice long cure.

You can note only a few ambers. This green version should hopefully maintain that clear up...coffee like effect I remember from the pure green OTH. Amazing day time smoke and I expect this to be stronger in effect with little to no ceiling. I will note that most of the pistils were well shriveled a week or more before I harvested. Keeping an eye on trichome quality is important with these long flowering Sativas. Many may have harvested much sooner just going by pistils.

PHxT from today. Maybe a few more ambers than on the curing GHxT. Not much more, though. It’s about 2 weeks since I took the GHxT. I think this plant will come down in the next 24-48 hours. Aromas are the classic spicy haze with a very clear presence of dark fruit/blackberry.

There are a very few white pistils still on this plant. Again, most are well withered. Better to judge by trichome qualities. My hope of re-vegging this plant is probably slim. It is looking very faded. The GHxT is still in the planter post harvest and looks like I may be able to repot. Time will tell.

Today’s photo shop. I looked at the live plant and thought hard about chopping today.

You can see a couple of brand new pistils. She’s giving everything she’s got!

Then I harvested a nice fat lower bud...

Smells are just incredible. In addition to the old school spicy hash and deeper dark berry tones, I detect an almost lilac aroma. There is some darker woodsy funk as well.

Harvested the Purple haze x Thai today. Just entering the waning moon, so seemed about right.

The amber is just starting to come on. Trichomes look perfectly ripe.

Aromas are that deep haze spice. The berry is there, but almost an oily or rubber aroma is there as well. Smells really exotic.

Should get a nice dry over the next days and then into a jar. Green haze x Thai is at 63% humidity in jar. These are going to be hard to let cure for a proper time. Do my best.

The two plants (bottoms) are still in their planter. I’ll give them a light growth feed this week and then try and pot them and move them indoors for an attempt at reveg.

I was doing the math and I think the PHTxMT went 16-17 weeks in flower. The green version 2+ weeks earlier (though it could have gone a little longer). If I’m able to reveg and take clones, I expect them both to finish mid to late December next year.

A few days into the drying cycle. In a few more, I will put the flowers into a brown paper bag and slowly sweat down to 65% RH.

Thank you CodyPomeray! The curing and wait is the killer. I’m expecting great things. My experience with the green OTH is like a gourmet cup of coffee with an espresso shot (or 5) thrown in for good measure. Electric brain. Clear and very positively focused. Can certainly be racy. The purple OTH is dreamy and introspective. Smoke reports are a few months away but I have ‘high’ expectations.

Good to hear about the green. I am growing OTH now for just that reason. I need to smoke a fair bit of indicas per day to help with back pain and hip pain, but I hate being all groggy from it. Trying to get my sativas built up so I can counter the indica effects with something other than 3 cups of coffee.

The green phenos of OTH will definitely fit that bill!! My preference leans a bit more towards the green, but the purple phenos bring their own aura and energy and are excellent when you want to explore your own brain for a while...and the colors are absolutely stunning. That aged dark berry liquor bouquet helps too.

Finally got around to digging up the two OTHxThai plants and put them into some pots with a little organic granular and some fresh soil.

Letting it stay in the natural light for a day or two and then I’ll start adding in some supplemental lighting. Don’t want to stress them any more than they’ve already been being up-rooted. We will see if I get lucky and they re-veg.

Bravo! Amazing outcome Ur Humbl Nr8tor :tiphat:
You really grown them to their fullest potential.

Those Haze x Thai flowers would be a dream come true for any real sativa lover, it's not something you can get from dispensaries, and certainly not all the growers have the patience and skills to finish this kind of tropical genetics as you did.

Looking forward to follow your upcoming Haze and sativa adventures :)

Thank you, dubi for all of the kind words! It’s what I tell all of my friends and hopefully future growers. We can get any number of dispensary clones, etc. to go along with what we buy at the store. There is just no comparison to what these genetics offer. I had a friend tell me recently...‘I wasn’t really that stoned, but after I smoked out...all I could do was dance in front of the speakers.’

Yep - that’s what we are looking for.

I’ve started a new thread ‘Roaring Twenties’. Much more to come, my friend! Thanks for all that you and your team have done in bringing these kick ass genetics to the masses.
