What's a better pure Sativa, Bangi Haze or Malawi ? from Ace.
I haven't grown the Bangi but remember Thai Bliss (search for trip weed thread) used to rave about it. Malawi is ok, just not my type of high at all.
A Malawi cross might be good also. I think there's a Malawi x Ethiopian which I think would be great together. Ethiopian alone is nice but needs more power.

ACE cannot be compared with HSO. Everyone who have grown their gear knows that results are consistant, honnest, and that their breeding is the most open. Dubi is the main breeder and hang around here in the ACE forum. He respond openly to most inquiries on a daily basis.

Malawi (haven't tried any other than ACE's) is one of the strongest strain. Hits are very strong, with fast onset, high is long lasting psychedelic trippy deep intense, fading into tiredness and sleepiness. (It deserves to be tried at least once...)
Bangi Haze is much more friendly with levels of thc about 10% less strong. Effects are happiness, sociable, talkative, stimulating with a somehow clean end.

Bangi Haze is not a pure sativa though if the "pure" part is important. Good option for a faster flowering strain with a "sativa type" high.

ACE does have pure sativas in the catalogue also, different kinds.

I would go on Neptune and buy some in house genetics. Go one YouTube type in the search engine inhouse genetics from seed to harvest and you will agree.

In house has some pretty pictures, but - a lot of their frost comes from having used Purple Punch in there base "Platinum" line. In my experience, Purple Punch, lacks...exactly that - any real punch.

I spoke with In House at Boston Freedom Rally this past year. They legitimately, stood there and spoke poorly of some of their own crosses. Then the actual breeder, "couldn't remember" the full genetic make up of what Platinum actually was.

I was 1000% ready to buy a pack of Oreoz x Platinum. They legitimately talked me out of it via how poorly they spoke of their own cross. Completely turned me off to purchasing their lines. I left convinced they produce strains with faux frost.

I ended up getting something from SolFire instead. I can't vouch for SolFire yet as I haven't smoked anything from them. The plants are in veg now.

I just love the different grows on YouTube of the in-house genetic gear. that’s what turned me on to them. I also ended up buying some Solfire from Neptune as well.

I ended up buying some Vader OG strains because of his videos on youtube also.

I moved the Malawi & Bangi Haze to the back burner and added Greenhouse White Widow Fem. to the menu.

I've had Haze x NL from Sensi and I liked it.

But I loved the White Widow from Brothers Grimm !

Fwiw - I've never smoked In House either. I was just REALLY put off when the breeder didn't know or want to speak about this genetic footprint. And when his hype man posse was constantly chirping in about his opinions on his boys work every 3 seconds like DJ Khaled in a rap song...lol

Just didn't like the vibe and it came off to me like a hype beast clown show. I ACTUALLY WANTED TO BUY THEIR SEEDS - they just completely left a rotten taste in my mouth.

Yah that would totally turn me off, if it’s your genetics and you are supposedly growing them then you should, know everything about that plant. Like everything, especially if it’s your creation. Perhaps these guys that make so much money off of seeds that they just pay someone else to do all the work and growing and breeding and making selections from pheno hunts (if they even do that) And just take credit for it. They are so far away from it all they have no clue. They just have the title and enjoy the profits and nothing beyond that.
that’s sad really, because isn’t the reason why we are in this, is because of our love for the plant?

Nah. I asked. It was his work. He was the breeder. He was there representing his work and his brand. I just think they took me as an amateur nuisance who had more questions than should exist, than was worth the time to educate. However, it's not like there was a line behind me and I wasn't keeping them from other sales.

His buddy was nagging about my choice of the Oreoz cross, saying that Oreoz was bland and had no flavor and had a boring high and had no terps and was just for looks and on and on and on.

I get it. He didn't like Oreoz. But in terms of trying to discuss something with a potential customer, if I was In House, I'd have told my boy to SHUT THE F' UP and back off.

I ignored all of that - what REALLY threw me, was when I started asking about the genetic make up of their main breeder - Platinum. He literally told me, "he couldn't remember", what one part of the base genetic make up was. That to me, as a genetics nerd, made me look else where.

I liked the romulan crosses from the old Vic line of Romulan. Space Queen was very entertaining with that C99 whack and citrus fruity flavor, mingling around with pine and sometimes grape type hints. So, i messed around with crossing an 'indica' type spacequeen with blueberry, then crossed that back to a very citrus spacequeen and more sativa type male. Inbred that fun little tart for a few generations, but it lost its 'oomph' over time, or it was a change in the lights, or something. i then brought in some of subby's work to open up the gene pool a bit, but didn't want to get too far off the spacequeen line. There was a 'Quad Dog' (There's another totally different one going by that name, now) that was Querkle x Space Dog. Space Dog was Space Dude x Snow Dog(?) so had spacequeen on both sides. Have not sampled my cross x Quad Dog, but would be quite a lot of spacequeen. The Qwerkle and Quad Dog were both very very similar to my 75% spacequeen 25% blueberry. These crosses are very fast to preflower and jump into flower right away, finish quite fast, too.

Anyway, long story long...if you can find the old Vic Romulan crossed with blueberry, i would give it a try. If it isn't exactly what you are hoping for, try adding a potent lemon 'sativa' type to the party.

Also, did get some beans of OG from another site, this was supposed to be very realated to Ghost cut, either from the same batch of parent seed or the 'parent seed' crossed back to Ghost, i don't remember. Farmerlion has pictures of one of those over at another site, but was unable to finish them. Gosh, it was a huge monster in his greenhouse.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

Yes the BCGA product line was fantastic !

Though some of the seeds I tried, e.g. BCGA Romberry, were not so great. Maybe they needed soil when I was giving them Rockwool + GH nutes.

I crossed the Killer Queen with Sensi G13 x Hashplant to make a "Double G". It was GREAT !

Made my pot-head friends forget about Romulan for a few smokes.

Looking at Mr Flowers results one would think the Platinum would be easy to sell, and buy.

I just spent 210 on two of Archives packs Oro Blanco and Dark Rainbow 2.0. Reg seeds 12 in each pack. Couldnt pass. Looking forward.

Edit- I recieved my shipment it did not include the Oro Blanco pack. It sounds like this is common occurrence in USA (being shorted). I am a working stiff my money is too valuable to throw away. Hoping they are sensible in handling this matter. I’ve just now reached out to them.
