Santa would find after squeezing down the stove pipe (Bro has no fireplace, just a old wood stove). On a table next to the easy chair , laid out all a row, a dab all rigged and ready to go. Next would be a blunt of some IBL from days of old. The there would be a pint of ale, and plate stacked high with cookies, gummies and other such treats. Why if Santa is not careful, I might find him in the easy chair with a smile on his face warming his toes in front of the old wood stove.

The winner in best Christmas gift for reminding us it IS the season for giving.
My son asked for a list of all my Christmas CD’s a few years ago prior to his visit for Christmas.
It took quite a while to realize the music playing at my daughter’s house Christmas Day was eerily familiar and also a bit too eccentric for radio streaming or airplay.
He’d downloaded all the CD’s in order to stream it at his sisters house while cooking Christmas morning. Eventually I thought “someone at that station has very similar tastes in music”
Maybe not the best ever, given the many I’ve been fortunate to have received, but a good place to start. It was the kind of gift I specialize in; not expensive but it requires thorough preparation and stealth. I think it was his homage to me and an appreciation I’d never expected.

Hey Gypsy, I delivered papers as well and having a bike was necessary. I delivered a daily paper and on Sat. delivered the weekend edition.Ahh - well - we haven't put a tree up yet here - and most presents I ever got were not so good - other than a bicycle when I was 13 years old - delivered many newspapers with it -

The best present I got for Christmas was my first drum set when I was in high school. And I also appreciate my mom letting me play it when I wanted to.
