IC MAGGERS obsessed with KUSH

Ive been seeing this reaction in a few people and I cant help but noticing every time they comment something like "Well it was good but it wasnt the best... It didn't live up to the hype, its just good weed"

These guys fall for the "hype" and expect some super weed or something.. the Kush varieties are definately not the best weed ever grown. but IMO, compared to the most of the stuff out there, they are a cut above. Above average in every department next to 95% of stuff I've smoked.(Potency, aroma, taste, aesthetics),

These hype things come and go... If you were around a year or 2 ago Sour Diesel was all the rage. I was definately sick of seeing and hearing about Sour Diesel so much, especially after trying it...

Starting a whole thread about it, just to bash whatever fad is in at the moment, is just going to cause more argument and fuss than what already comes up in Kush threads. A bit juvenile too.

Smoke the weed that you like most... and dont look to the bandwagon everytime a new trend pops up, the most popular is rarely the best. Anyone remember the fuss over Tickle Me Elmos? lol

Some of the Kush varieties are my favorite smokes... They arent the best weed ever grown, but they are dank as fuck. dont kid yourself... and dont make assumptions off BS hype anymore either... There is a ChemDawg D thread in full swing however repping ChemDawg if you're looking to jump onto the next big trend.

Off to have a chief or two of the Purple Kush, and then to bed. stoned regards, cvs

Just read the whole thread, and of course it already degraded by the 3rd page... Any thread involving Kush seems to turn to BS rather quickly... But this thread was already pretty lame anyway.

Kush is good, Thai is better, and Mexican Sativa is the best! lol... im out

i think alot of people are thinking this OG kush rage. there are many kush crosses and hybrids.

kush is a real nice indica.

some hindu kush im puffin, not as potent as some og kush iv smoked but very pleasant narcotic high and relaxing. tastes lovely with these clear cellulose joints too. :joint:

its all about enjoying this lovely gift we have been given not to argue whos got what or what is better, kick back, light one up and be content with what u can get or what you have at the time.

Thats good advise Dimebag.
I found myself getting impatient over the chem D and it was no good.
It's best to sit back and enjoy what you already have. Because really it's all personal preferance anyway. Its' just most people agree that OG Kush is some of the better weed around these days. And IMO, it is.

Thats one of the things I love about my original OG Kush is that it's more of a Kush pheno and smokes more like a true Kush strain with some extra added goodness from the lemon Thai and chemdawg.( a Kush/chemdawg leaning phenotype)
But mostly it smokes like a chemmy Kushs with slight lemon. Compared to the crazy lemon Pinesol smell of the SFV OG(Lemon Thai/ Chemdawg pheno mostly)
But now more original OG's are popppin up so I don't really know which OG my original is(I think it's the original) But no way to really find out for sure.
Because noone really knows which is which. It's all speculation.
Thats why there are more then one SFV and more then one original OG and so on.
Because how could there be more then one of each of those. If it's different ,then it's a different phenotype/genotype and thats a different version in my eyes.
So it would be nice to get some concrete info on which OG's are the real originals and which are the real SFV's and so on.
But I doubt that will ever happen.
I do know that I love my 2 OG's I have and thats all I really care about in the end.
The original OG Tahoe cut is calling me though. lol I need to try that next.
I hear it's the best one. I love the fuel taste and smell from OG so the Tahoe sounds awesome in that aspect.

Well put JDOG dont think i could have stated that quite as well :D good break down on the subject right there folks.^^

its funny becuase once people run across a strain thats a hit its a building block for all together new or great strains. there are alot of great new strains being created and bred each and everyday, and yet at the same point there are great strains being passed over or lost to new strain ventures that are extremely potent and tasty but just didnt quite take off.

Pretty much strains you have bred yourself will be what u can find the most satisfaction in, find the strains you love for potency and a strain or 2 to cross up with for flavor or a particular HIGH and go to work! who knows maybe it will be the next biggest hit to be discussed and grow.

Kush it to me.

They can be abitch to figure out at first.
Mainj things I've found are you don't want to feed them too much Nutes until the flowers start to form. And the stretch is pretty much over.
And they need lots of Calmag.
More then most other strains, I've found.
And justmake sure to flush evry few watering to make sure you don';t get any built up nutews down at the bottom. So when the roots reachthe bottom they wont get shocked by the extra food.BUt thatgoes for pretty much any strain.
Main things are lots of Calcium and don't feed too much too early or you can bet balls growing out with the hairs towards the bottom.
Those are the main things I've found with most of these Kush/chemdawg hybrids.

Thanks for the tips. The banana is acting the craziest. Red stems all over so i gotta really evaluate what's going on. The male is the weirdest so far. I somehow stunted the hell outta him and he refused to throw out any side branches so I can't clone him to start over. I'm forced to work thru this and fix him up :petting: So far it's going fine since the new growth is nice and green. In due time i'll fim him so i can get ONE clone at least. Even before the stunting this plant had no side shoots so i assume the offspring may produce some decent sog types :chin: But who really wants some SOG kush plants? Lord knows i'm only gonna toss the pollen right back to more kushes and maybe my urkle :yummy:

Iceman

Nice pics man. I remember you came to my oooooold thread on my Bubba cut from the Clubs and offered your pics for future reference. I think we were all in a trance over Nspecta's shots so we never gave you your props but i have to tell you as i should have told you then - you did an amazing job with that cut, thanks for sharing.

Go to the east coast, then travel as far as you can south until ya hit water..

If no one is bitching, why was this thread made? Just to state a general fact?

thx s4vvy......

As it turns out. I have learned a great deal about other Kushes that I was unaware of...

This thread is suppose to illustrate the "Bane and Boon" nature of growing the Real-Deal Kush. And bring out some good vibes regarding a cut that can get a bit Cut-throat..! lol

What a live thread..>! Thank YOU...!

very true. i don't know about you kids in the NE, but in the SE no one has a clue what kush or og kush or chemdog is unless they have knowledge of the headie nugs or just moved from cali.

i'm not bitchin tho, i like the masterkush genetics i've been working with :joint:

I may have had some in 1983 when I was in California right before I left for boot camp, but I'm just saying that to try and fit in. All the weed I've smoked over the last 2 years was weed I grew out, except one dime bag my sister gave me months ago.

Cool. I just found an odd seed up here by the computer. I hope it turns out to be a killer. I think I got it from my nephew. I know it's not a seed I produced. Those are all in my room.

Sorry, just a virgin when it come to Kush....
