I can think of a few states with much harder laws against it, actually pa is pretty easy according to norml. Cops are supposed to be here to protect and serve US! not harass and embarass, which seems like all they do.
If it was a dead town in pa, i can see why, they are just simply bored, and will take a innocent person and ruin there life. Weed is a victimless crime, no violence, it dosent even make people fiend and rob and steal for money.
I live in an area heavy with DEA, Feds, county task forces, and local pigs
Its pretty safe to say its the ghetto. But good thing about it is they are extremely busy with the crack/heroin dealers, they spend no time on potheads.
Unless its a random stop, or you fit a description of a robery of some shit, and coincidently you have something on u.
Cops pretty much do watever the fuck they want, they are the law, and in most cases, above it.
They can plant evidence on u if they dont like you. The fact that the pigs entered your house is beyond me, i guess living in such a rough neighborhood, its natural to keep my doors, windows, everything locked up tight. Once they saw your oz's on the table, triggered a search. Which you got very lucky it didnt stick, because techincally, that is considered probable cause(the oz's in plain sight on the table). Probable cause can even be made up by the cops,(ex: They say they heard gunshots from the house, would be probable cause to search it).
consider urself extremely lucky bro, and for the others here, dont get to cocky. Because in most cases there is no such thing as an illegal search and seizure. They can easily make up a reason for probable cause, which will make the search legal!
One last thing: They should focus more on or countries problems, violent crimes, robberies, and crack/heroin!!
LEAVE US ALONE...There is nothing wrong with smoking weed, except the fact you guys can't do it, because you get tested for it, so stop being jelous, and find a new occupation.
