Okay, but what the f does this mean brother......I mean I know Björk is that weird chick who sings?
Well, I went back and checked around two am this morning...Everything is gone, ripped right out of the ground. Still dont know how this particular spot was found..Only thing I can think of is either a helicopter saw the grow or it was found through some random act by a someone hiking.
As far as the camera goes, I think I did that right thing under the circumstances. Those that are critical need to think about the situation. Im basically running from the cops at this point carrying a backpack with empty water bottles, and I get my picture taken with a game camera. Im not going to stand there and try to figure how to delete the pictures and take a chance on the landowner or someone else walking up, and I am certainly not going to take a chance and sneak it back and risk being seen....Plus, putting it back will raise even more questions. What if the landowner noticed it was missing than it mysteriously reappeared?
The way I look at it better the landowner out $100.00 to $200.00 camera than me getting busted.
Im not completly sure what he means but "bjørk" is also one sort of tree, not sure what the english word is.
A naturalist doing a project or farmer watching for predators or hunters looking for game...all would report it stolen to the police in most cases if they didn't (as was pointed out by someone earlier in this thread) go stomping around the bush themselves looking for an explanation
best answer so far. what was done had to be, so just do what you can and keep it moving.Bagend,
No disrespect for protecting yourself. Right decision in taking care of the situation with the quickness.
If you feel crappy for trespassing on private land (if it was), planting your crop (which you did), and then destroying a piece of equipment that was lawfully installed with good intent (if it was), and you have the scratch...
(you've already shown you have the sack to return--respect for that)...
Then a non-traceable replacement camera (cash/out-of-town/OJSimpson-style-drop-off) with a non-traceable "Sorry, didn't mean to fuck with your life," note might be a way to tidy up loose ends, ease grower-landowner tensions and clean up your obligation to do no harm to others.
...don't forget the pepper and the new size 13 Wallmart shoes...
