What? You knew Ethel?
When you hear that ping...so see Ethel.

I remember when the traffic circle in the middle of Negril, Jamaica looked like this....

I remember Tuesday night "Quarter drink" night. Would take $1.00 and buy three drinks, leaving a quarter tip....but that was eons ago!we used to buy a beer and leave the change on bar for next round, lol not now.
I remember when I would step into the house at the end of the day and smell what was for supper.
Then hear those sweet words hello dear. Then I always got a little snuggle and a hug.
Missing my sweet wife today.
Can't remember that, (not ever being there), but quite familiar with several "hippie communes" in the SW back in the late '60's, early '70's. New Buffalo and The Farm come to mind.Does anyone else on icmag remember when this was all there was to downtown Negril?
I've only met one other guy here, who remembers it from those days...
There were only about 100 or so American tourists there at a time back then....and they were all long haired hippie types...
It sure was a cool place visit in those days... and it made a great base camp, from which to make week long excursions back into the hills....
