Drove a beat-up Rambler wagon in my HS years, mid-, late-70s.
3 on the column, I think.

My Dad had a Rambler w/ 3 on the column about '72-73. The entire front bench seat reclined. Great make-out car.

I remember when I could not start my first car, a Morgan roadster 4 seater, I would just start it with a hand crank rod in the front. That was in 1965. You had to be careful with it they could give quite a kickback.
Anyone else remember that long ago?

In the mid '60s my rich friend got a cool little mini-bike that had a kick-start. But sometimes that little fucker would kick back.

That kid would let me start it but then wouldn't me drive it. That was why. That asshole was just afraid of the kick back. So I did that for him exactly once.

Later, I went on to have 2 trail bikes. Both street legal. First was a Triumph Trail-blazer. 4-cycle dog.

Then got a Yamaha Enduro 2-cycle little rice burner. I'm lucky to be alive the way I drove that hot number.

My first car was a '49 Dodge I bought from my brother for $15. Needed a brake master cylinder, couldn't pass inspection. Brakes still worked, just not good and it leaked. I was 15 years old. My Dad had sold life insurance to this old farmer who had it in his barn. I sold it to a neighbor kid for $30.

I can't imagine what that might be worth today. My brother had an old shaving case full of old baseball cards too. Same deal, can't imagine.
