I have recently put the CO2 gen in my flower room and have it on a PPM3 set @ 1800 it's about day 5 and the leaves on the girls are starting to turn yellow all of them... slowly, my question is is it the CO2 doing this or a nute problem. I haven't changed anything else so I don't know how it could be a nute problem...

DirtDoctor- Ya I read the spider mite thread and I am going to get some floramite as soon as I cut these girls down. thanks for the recommendation

It's always hard to diagnose a condition, when (multiple) previous conditions exist. Pics would help as usual.

However, CO2 will increase growth and transpiration rates (so will the high temps from a CO2 generator) - so plants will need more food to keep up with the advanced rate of growth.

Ok guys I got home today and looked at the girls real good and noticed that my 2 other girls in veg are starting to have the same problem. I was going to kill the plant that I have been having the issues with so I pulled it out of the bucket and noticed that it has a good root system and since I noticed the other plants doing the same thing as this one I decided to wait a little bit and see if I can't figure this one out. Okay so at this point I think that my problem is a Micro problem. Tomorrow im going to pick up some Cal/Mag and some PH down cause Im out. Also how do you feel about adding lime to sunshine is it necessary? Well I took some pics to show you whats going on so far and to get some ideas....

Okay so I added some Cal/Mag and I brought my PH down to 5.9 in my veg room and 6.1 in my flower room. All the new growth looks good I hope this fixes the deficiency. I have 6 cuttings of Afgooey that I acquired and I noticed something today when I was taking pictures. One of the 6 is starting to have to same problem the other girls in veg are having the darking in the middle of the leaf.... As you'll probably notice in the pictures, the mediums are different that is because I am running an experiment with different combinations of things I am using to try and figure out what is causing this problem. Something I didn't expect is for one of them to show the problem so early. I have not given them anything except for water and the tea that I use and now im really confused... I threw in some pics of my girls flowering JFF

Something I was thinking about the other day... I gave one of the 2 plants that are flowering 1000ppm and the other 750ppm and the one that got 1000 looks better. Now my question is from the time that I water that plant, how long does it take for the plant to use all the nutes? The reason I ask is because if its going to burn whats the longest it will take 24 hrs or 3 days? Lets say 24hrs if thats the case then if I wanted to bring both plants to 1200PPM how long should I wait? One more thing that I hope some one can answer, lets say you water a plant with 1 gal of 1500PPM and you water the one next to it with 1.5 gal of 1000ppm solution which plant is more likley to burn?

The reason I ask is because I just watered these 2 plants 2 days ago and they need more nutrients, there hungry but the soil is plenty wet... I want to get them both to 1200PPM asap, whats the best way to do this? Is there a way to do it before the next required watering with out risking burning them?

Those plants were starting to get rootbound, just like I said they were, your problems should be near fixed now...

Okay so they needed to be transplanted which I did, and the problem is still there. On Feb 1 I got 6 Affgooey clones they are showing the same symptoms as the other plants except no yellowing, the yellowing problem is completely gone the only problem now is the browning in the middle of the leaf. It's never on the new growth, so it starts about on the 3rd set of leaves from the top. Almost every plant I have is now showing this except 3 plants I have in flower. To try and figure out which thing I was doing that was causing this problem I took the 6 afgooey clones and did some different things with them. I have this top dress that I was putting on the top of the soil after the plant was planted. So I split the 6 of them into pairs, so 1 of the 2 in each pair has the top dress and the other doesn't. All got sunshine mixed with chunky perlite at a 50/50 mix and nothing else except for the 3 that got the top dress. I will add dolomite lime in the next transplant. Okay so I have these 6 clones divided into 3 pairs: the 1st pair gets water only (because sunshine has a charge in it already), the 2nd pair gets only the DM GOLD @ 3/4 strength, the 3rd pair gets only the tea(ALL 6 clones are showing the browning in the middle of the leaf). I have a R/O unit that filters my WELL WATER down to around 20 ppm. I have about 12 house plants and I noticed something last night they are all showing the same symptoms that my girls are showing :bashhead: so im pretty sure that there is something in my water that the R/O is not filtering out that the plants are not liking. So im going to try to water with something else besides my well water: my choices are either city tap that is 121ppm or D I water which one would be better to use there both going to be a pain to get I just want to know which one will the plants like more?

the 2nd to last pic looks like it is burning a bit from too high of nutrient level......

the rest of your pics have had a nitrogen problems like you said they were yellowing, I could tell from the pics it was nitrogen.

the 3rd to the last have you sprayed that plant with anything? How long has that been there?

6th picture looks like it is nitrogen with possibly calcium or pH issue.....
When you use RO water, you remove all nutrients from the water, micros and other stuff.

If you use RO you need to have a supplement ready in the water to feed them everytime you water.
Plants need micros from the water, so when removed you need to get something like cal mag, sensi cal, earthjuice catalyst, microblast stuff like that.
Your tap water is fine to use, it's only a little soft and slightly hard......

Stitch- hey man first off I would like to say thanks for showing a continuing interest in my problem I appreciate the help a lot. Now as far as the 3rd plant getting sprayed with something...No thats a blowfish clone I have had for about a week and a half and it has not been sprayed with anything.

All my house plants get watered with water right out of the tap which you say is fine ( did you catch the part that I have WELL water that is 650ppm out of the tap...) they dont get RO water or nutes, they get a little plant food once a month.

As far as using a supplement with RO water, I am i'm using CAL/MAG... not with all plants either only some and it doesn't seem to be making a difference?

I was asking if you sprayed anything on it, I was not saying "yes" you sprayed something on it :)

If your water is 650 ppms, you need a better filtration system.

You did not say anything about your water being like that, all you said was

I have a R/O unit that filters my WELL WATER down to around 20 ppm

So if you have a good filtration system why are you using bad well water?

650 ppm is ludicrious and I would not even advise drinking that let alone using it to water my plants.

If you are using your nutes once a month, that is not going to make a difference, once a plant uses up its food in the soil it needs feed weekly, not monthly.

Unless you use time released ferts which is a bad idea on cannabis, house plants are different though.
What is the amount of cal mag you are using and how often?

When you water your plants, if you use the 20ppm water you need to have cal mag in every watering.

how 'bout spraying some funguscide? looks like rusty mold to me caused by necroishmatter created by suffocation made by to high of a CO2 level at le begining ...

hope that helps
