lol, if you put a soft ball full of peanut butter in front of my dogs and then tried to get in my house you would be in a world of hurt. A good guard dog does not care about food when in protection mode.

As for the seedlings, I highly doubt this person knew what they were unless they also grew. Most plant seedlings look alike.
I dunno if i'd assume that. Maybe if they were just seedlings amongst other house plants or in a window sill or something, but most people would associate seedlings under lights inside as someone trying to grow weed.
He didnt specify if they were under a light in a pre-defined space/setup, but anyone who sees that is going to know what is up.. even more so if they are a thieving criminal.
How the hell does one train their dog to do this? I realize it must be something done from birth on - never allowing anyone else to ever feed your dog?If your dog will take any food from any other person besides you then it's not a guard dog.
