Damn good post! I also believe that possesion of firearms is only illegal if used in the commission of a felony, since many of us have 215 cards, and are therefore committing no crime, I would take that to mean I can own guns.

I live in the country, and FAR away from the Sheriffs office. They would take at least 30 minutes to get to my place, so I see guns as a necessity here. Any thoughts on this?

Seems to me if the gun wasn't yours they would have to prove Constructive possession. Just because it is in the house, and you don't have access to it it'd be a little hard to prove you had possession. I'd keep that in mind and mention it to the lawyer.
