even if you have insanely high content of things like sulfur, iron, manganese etc., a Triple O Ozone generator in the main water tank will make it so the water is good to go...

Nomaad if you want any help on the water system for your new place the offer still stands if you're serious :)

i appreciate the offer. your contributions like the above are the kind of help I need. I will be dropping off water for testing in the next 48 hrs. I'll let you know what I find. This is going to be a real stream of consciousness process... tight budget, no power, female sherpas...

breathe, execute, breathe.

Great day today. Weather was perfect for working. Not too hot but nice and sunny. We took all the plastic off of Ganja D's hoops today. Most of the plants were outgrowing the hoops and it was getting way too hot during mid day. We had uncovered a couple on Friday to get a comparison before we uncovered the rest. The girls that were uncovered over the weekend looked great so we went for it. At the trench garden we uncovered two of the hoops that were starting to be overgrown. We will be uncovering all the rest of the hoops over the next week or so if the weather holds up.

Here is my Purple Star strain. It makes beautiful and fruity tasting/smelling purple buds. It also has the biggest fan leaves of any of my strains. This plant blows my mind. Very unique. I love it. It is a real winner and something I am really proud of.

OMG look at the SIZE of those things! Purple Star looks awesome, what kind of genetics went into her? You're a consummate artist, my friend.

The original Purple Star was actually very sativa dominant when I got her 7-8 years ago. She was not a heavy yielder or a large growing plant. I actually crossed her with my well acclimated staple Purple Train Wreck that I have worked with for almost a decade. Now you can see the results. The fan leaves are ridiculously huge. Ganja D has a monster plant of this at his garden he will hopefully get some pics of.

Makes me so happy to see a plan coming together! Now the hoop frame turns into a Hortinova frame yes? What a no-brainer, awesome....

Hope you have enough trellis ;)

Woo hoo!! Pics finally loaded for me and DAMN. So so awesome..those things have been loving life in the hoops.

Sorry if I missed it, but looks like the hoops are just 20'x maybe 1" bent to rebar? And how is your top 'beam' attached? Worked out great for you, lol..obviously!

Thanks bro. Yes the hoops will now be covered with two 5' wide pieces of trellis netting coming off of the ridge piece. But before that happens we will add cages to most of these plants for extra support.

Hey Fish, glad you can finally see what we have been up to. The hoops are 3/4" pvc. We cut 2-3 feet off each piece so we will have some extra plastic to secure the sides to the ground with a 20' wide piece of plastic. The ridge piece is secured with bailing wire and then duct tape/gorilla tape over that. It added a lot of work to the project but it was obviously worth it with the lousy weather we had. Next year we will be planting a lot earlier. I have seen quite a few of my friends gardens this year and we are way ahead of everyone.

"Hoops & trenches"....

Yep , makes it all easy for the plants to grow feeder roots far laterally & go big . Easy maintenance for next yr with the ability run the ro-tiller strait down the runs a few times , turn, amend & condition thru the spring . Then ready to go again!

Was always was a fan of trenches ....easy .
