Man is this site becoming a dating advice site or what?

In my opinion, a man is better off single. Once you are in a relationship you turn over the key to all your life and privacy to another person. But if you don't date, you are alone, looked at funny, thought of as weird and generally unhappy for lack of sex and companionship.

I broke up with my girl many months ago. As soon as it was clear she was not coming back her best friend started hanging out at my place and sex was almost immediate. With sex came obligations and responsibilities. She was a nice girl, but I was just becoming single and trying to get to know myself and here I am having to get along with someone else's quirks. I told her I was not ready to do all of that and she told me we would keep it cool, just be friends and so on. I went on a trip to Panama and met a Colombiana living there that I had a lot in common with. Next thing you know this girl at my place is reading my email and throwing all kinds of fits. I had to find a way out when it was just supposed to be a friendship with no real hooks. She leaves all mad and told all kinds of people my personal stuff. It was a real pain in the ass.

So I moved out of that area, job related and I am totally single now. I have a two bedroom townhouse and a young girl that has a key so she can baby sit my dogs, take them for walks etc. People think, imply, make winks etc that I have something going on with her, but she is half my age and we have nothing really in common. But because I am single it is just assumed that we have something going on.

Good luck on whatever you are trying to do here, but it is going to fail, it always does. When you date you put people together that think differently and have different agendas. You both have to make concessions and in the end nobody is happy. If you connect in any way it can be impossible to put the shit back into the donkey.

I am 42 and never been married. I don't have any children. Both my brothers were executed by thugs in my homeland and there is nobody left to carry the family name. My mother has been crying about this for almost 20 years. Pressure from her has been exaggerated because of her adjustments to the USA and mother's day.

I met Luna on December 7th, the day that marijuana become legal in Washington. Since then we have been inseparable. I helped her deal with the loss of her mother and we have bonded like nobody I have ever met. She loves her marijuana as much as I do. I asked her to marry me this morning and she said yes. There is a possibility that she may be expecting a child, she mentioned after accepting my proposal. My mind has been racing ever since, and I even closed the shop today and gave my employees a day off with pay. We will be getting married on the summer solstice in Maui.

Please no bad vibes from people that are divorced. I am getting older and Luna is the best thing that ever happened to me. Having a child with this beautiful lady will be wonderful. Ironically Luna will be old enough to have a drink with me the same day we become man and wife. She is such a beautiful lady. Her mother was a model and Luna could be too. I have always loved Brazilian women.

Lost in Sea, I had a girl friend that was into hard drugs my cousins were working with. Once in a while is one thing, but she got caught with 26 grams in California and it cost me $20k to get her out of prison. I think I saved her life because some people are worried when one that knows too much get arrest. Anyway, we get her out of prison sentence and she continue to do the drogas. I let her go. I dated her best friend until she read email of mine from Colombiana I meet in Panama. After that I move from Portland to Seattle and meet Luna. I never planed on being in relationship but it happen. We have our reservations. Getting married on the Solstice in Maui. Luna nor I have ever been to Maui so this is going to be exciting for so many reasons. Maui is a much older island than Hawaii and Oahu so we are both excited to explore the differences. We are both nature lovers and lovers of warm tropical weather. We are just both lovers period. I hope we are able to hook up some buds there as we can only bring so much on the plane. Maybe I can arrange to have some there another way?? At any rate, the weed is not important in the whole scheme of things, but we are both someone that pretty much smokes every day so it would be a bit of a bummer to run out over there. Anyone that has any tips for things to do or see over there shout out. I understand there is a hippie community there so that will be cool. Luna is a surfer girl so we will be doing some of that, and of course snorkeling, eating, drinking and just our regular mischief. We are getting so excited that we tremble talking about it.
