here's a nice summary of genetic drift. Using the cannabis analogy its like we're only controlling for two strains Peak 19 and Cindy's Bubbles.

"Flu Virus Antigenic Drift

Each year’s flu vaccine contains three flu strains—two A strains and one B strain—that can change from year to year.

After vaccination, your body produces infection-fighting antibodies against the three flu strains in the vaccine
If you are exposed to any of the three flu strains during the flu season, the antibodies will latch onto the virus’s HA antigens, preventing the flu virus from attaching to healthy cells and infecting them.
Influenza virus genes, made of RNA, are more prone to mutations than genes made of DNA.
If the HA gene changes, so can the antigen that it encodes, causing it to change shape

If the HA antigen changes shape, antibodies that normally would match up to it no longer can, allowing the newly mutated virus to infect the body’s cells. This type of genetic mutation is called “antigenic drift.” "

weed, can you provide backup that the virus in the flu vaccines are "dead"? Sil vous plait.

Nope. Last time I got a flu shot I ended up getting the worst case ever two weeks later. I haven't had anything worse than a cold in years.

Whatever you do don't get the nasal spray. It does contain the live virus. Both shot and spray are well known to get you sick but the spray has been confirmed to cause viral shedding which gets unvaccinated people sick.

The sun rises in the morning. Should we argue about that?

You can not get the flu from the flu shot. There is no argument to be made.

I get the flu shot. I have had all my shots.

Do you get a tetanus shot? I do.

Nope.

If you prevent in getting sick like keeping things clean with bleach,Not being a slob and avoid people with flu and colds, not touching the face, eyes, nose, then you're doing alllright.

Been 10 years since last cold, got it from girlfriend for a few days and told her to change sheets when I got better and she got it again..Before that 20 years.

Lemons does wonders.

no I don't get a flu shot because the strategy is bass ackwards as I've illustrated. Look at the years where there's a shortage of vaccine yet to increase in flu cases for empirical support.

a tetanus update wouldn't hurt but I've probably have developed some natural resistance from working outdoors a lot

now I'm going to drop some ascorbic acid TNT!lol

Sounds like a good idea. Let's ignore the many people that claim they have gotten the flu from the shot and believe what we are told instead. These billionaire companies that push the influenza vaccines on us love people like you.

GSP I don't want to argue about science. I know people sometimes feel slightly ill after a flu shot. However, they don't have the flu because you can not get the flu from a flu shot.

If adults don't want to get vaccines they are free to make that choice. Just say you don't want to take one because you don't think you need one or want one. Not because you will get the flu or the government is putting something in them.

A healthy 35 to 55 year old has a well developed immune system.

no one is arguing iTarzan, its a discussion that is most fruitful when people support what they are writing. I like to turn other people's light bulb on and I like it when other people turn my light bulb on. Nobody likes to get left in the dark ;-)

never gotten one purely by my own choice. Just got my second one this year as it's required for the hopsital im currently working at
