I've decided against getting one the last few years. I'm curious to know others opinions.

Never have, never will. Why? It isnt necessary. Keep your immune system in check and it will fight it off if exposed to the virus. Im no expert, but everything ive read about ingredients used as a preservative to anecdotes of adverse reactions it seems like a no brainer to me. There are too many variations of the flu virus for one shot to cover. I could be wrong but I think they just pick one virus strain and give you the vaccination for that one. How it works physiologically from there I couldn't tell you.

I find the whole thing bizarre...big pharma doesn't exactly have any integrity left. "Free" usually means it comes with a labrat/data-collection clause in this world.

the army use to make you get the shots every year and every year i got sick from the shot

since i haven't got a 100% of getting the flu without the shot i roll the dice and don't get them

got mine for this year yesterday at work. 6 years running now. first year, live virus, had a VERY mild case from the shot. have not had the flu since then. until i started getting the shot, i was sick as a dog for up to a week at least once every winter. every damn thing on me ached, right down to my fingernails and hair. sweat, then chill. repeat as necessary until you are really tired of it. only thing made me feel any better was sitting in the shower with the water as hot as it would go until it ran out...fuck a bunch of flu, man!

nope

If one is on the fence as to where they stand I suggest researching the flu at either the National Vaccine Information Center or greenmedinfo.com. Both websites can easily provide you with research cited arguments that are useful in making a fully informed decision.

No, but then it's only really worth it if you are in an 'at risk' group... Plus the flu mutates every year

Not a chance in hell. I'll stick with healthy diet and my colloidal silver, Medicinal mushrooms (reishi, cordyceps, shitake, maitake), probiotics, and lots of cannabis! I don't get sick with this kind of regimen. For the times when I feel a lil something coming on in the background, I will add oregano oil, elderberry, and grapefruit seed extracts to the mix and keep on keepin on.

Fuck pharma and their poisons.

Mom was a nurse... Used to get shot every year until teenager and could decline. Got flu about every other year, haven't had flu since I stopped getting shot over decade ago.. Hmmm
Refused vaccinations on my children as well... 7 yrs and yet to have a kid get more then a sniffle or upset tummy, all their cousins have ear tubes or a permanent room at doctors office

It's funny, I know a bunch of ppl that got the flu shot this year, the next day a few were complaining about sore arms, a few got sick. What the hell is the point of getting a shot that gives you a 50/50 of getting the flu or at bare minimum has side effects almost as bad as the flu. Fuck the flu shot.
