How do *you* order seeds from seedboutique?

I have never ordered seeds before, so understandably i dont want to fuck anything up.

What do you do?

Do you use real info when you create an account?
do you pay with credit card?
if you didnt have a grow now would you ship to your residence?

I have read other threads but none really answered the questions I had. Please help me order some good genetics!

btw, I have no grow going now, and hell i'm practically out of weed anyhow so really nothing illegal in the house except a few bagseeds that i cant seem to get to sprout.

think i'd be safe ordering it to my house? i dont know of any drop spots.

oh, and in my situation do you think there'd be an issue ordering via credit card or should i just go get a money order?

If you plan on growing there, and they get seized (very low possibility) it could be a risk to grow there in the future. Find a cool friend to order to if possible.

Order with real information and an international money order (western union). I've heard of many people using credit cards just fine, but its an easy thing to get a MO.For your name you have a choice, real, fake or something like ebay winner #.......

Dont use your real info. use a throw away email (free-yahoo, hotmail, hushmail)... even if you mail it to 'yourself', mispell your name a little.

Id say not to pay with a cc, but many do with no problems.

And if your gonna be growing in your place later you could.. if you dont have a person to get it sent to that doesnt already know your gonna be growing keep it like that, imo. ... Id still try to find some kind of safe address, perhaps a vacant house.... but if theres no other way than.. ya sure, but dont be mad if they dont come and then your scared to start it up Id rather risk that than telling someone who doesnt need to know, imho.

Should have included that i do not use my real name. I wouldn't reccomend a real name, but some do and its just fine. Definately don't use a name of a past resident because their mail may be forwarded to their new address.

Be careful of where your drop spot is, you dont want to raise any suspiscions. This is situation dependant. Its not necessary to have your payment express shipped, but its up to you obviously.

The site will tell you add $5 onto your total to include the shipping and handeling. Mail the money order yourself, I wouldn't send money through western union, just get their MO.

Be sure to put a real return addy on the payment envelope so it can get back to ya if for whatever reason there is an error. From the us i think its like 89 cents. 3 stamps

I dont know about western union, are you talking wiring the money or sending a western union money order? However add $5 to the $17 for shipping

If you can selct ovenight to have it shipped to you I dont know, if so thats your choice.. just will have to add the difference to your pymt... I dont think Gypsy does this though. You overnight to him.

if paying with a money order, you need to send through an overnight carrier, if in the states 2 day I believe is the fastest called global express.... $20-$30 I think.... that will get you an extra freebie.. to give someone else to grow... The place you select overnight express is wherever you choose to send it out from and pay for it. They know how it came when it arrives.

The only thing I disagree with is having the order shipped to a vacant house. Mail tampering is a more serious offense than have pot seeds sent to you through the mail.


I've been thinking about ordering seeds for a couple years and plan to do so maybe this Christmas.

i usually send Mo... but the past couple times ive just sent cash... just cardboard with the cash and piece of paper in the middle tapped up... 3:3 made it there and back no problem... i have a house that im having for 6 months so i just had them sent to my place... and when i move out im starting... if possible just have them sent to a PO box...

hey Heirloom i am in much the same situation, preparing to order for first time and wondering how to go about it. planning to order during the holiday mail rush using money order or maybe prepaid credit card. but where to have order shipped to is still the big problem.

are there truly anonymous mail drops and how does one find them? seems a p.o. box is little safer than direct to residence since they have your address anyway (fake info/i.d. too risky?), easily gotten by leo. i have about decided on a p.o. box with a small independant company, and have no grow going on. slight chance it gets burned and i dont grow for a long time, but since no one knows i grow it seems better to keep it that way than risk ordering through a friend.

whats up with express mailing of money order and extra freebie, does the mailing method affect vendor cost somehow?

ballast, we are in the same boat my friend. no one knows I grow, and only 1 knows I even smoke hehe.

So I am in the unique position of having next to perfect security. If I could get my bagseeds to sprout I would just work those, I am an avid gardener so this is really pissing me off. I know the seeds are old (they were sitting in a sealed container for a year, I am thinking the moisture in the container messed em up)

I am probably gonna try to grow out my next bag of seeds, or, get clean, order the seeds to my house using the cash method, seal them in a container with a bag of dessicant and simply wait till I move before starting a grow. That will be the longer way, but also most likely the smarter way.

Where I live unoccupied houses are common, however everyones got mail forwarding.

I don't want to use a PO box. It seems like it'd be too easy for the PO to notify the police of what I received, and then have a postal officer meet me at my box when i go to retrieve them.

Ok, it is getting to be near holiday time so I am getting ready to pull the trigger on my order.

Which do you think is better?

Buy gift visa card with cash, and use it to pay for seeds, or send cash, then i have 2 shipping options.

first is the previous occupants of my house still get mail here, i can deliver it to their name without worrying about mail forwarding.

second is my moms PO box. she is ultra paranoid from past husbands, i'm guessing the PO box is listing my grandmas physical address and she passed a year ago.

only problem is i'm paranoid about using a po box for some reason..

so, what do you think is better?

Last time I ordered, I used my debit card and shipped to my home address. No problems. I might not do this if I had more than an obviously personal grow, but I have never heard of anyone getting popped for ordering seeds.

if you order from seedboutique I would go with pre paid credit card
if you are ordering from seedbay I would suggest 3 day registered air mail with money order. You can get the money back usually if the money order gets lost or stolen.

after checking out what it takes to get a p.o. box i have decided against it; that post office form and 2 forms of i.d. crap smells fishy to me, and all the mail places do that now apparently. anyway arranged something with a trustworthy friend who smokes but doesn't grow, without giving away too much...worst case maybe i don't get to grow, but no risk of being turned in for seeds like those mailbox places might.

Heirloom, i like the visa gift card idea better, seems just as anonymous as a money order if bought with cash, and no wait for payment to get there... but then i have yet to buy one so not sure. previous occupants still getting mail there, sounds cool, would suck if they happened to start forwarding while your order is in transit but at least easy to deny its yours. good luck with your order too, i see lovely quality plants in our future!

i order them online and mail a money order to them. when you order online you will get an Order Number example 55555. And on a piece of paper with the money order I write Order Number 55555. Then they will know exactly what you ordered. Plus when they recieve payment you get an email from them, plus it will say payment recieved item shipped on the site when you log in. good luck with your order.

I actually ordered a few packs earlier today and the credit card function was not working so you might just wanna go grab a money order for $23 and mail it in.

I haven't ordered yet, but I plan on ordering when I'm done with my grow, and there's about 2 months left on my lease. That way, if they get confiscated, I won't be at that address for very long anyways. Oh well, that's about 9 months off. I can't wait to order from Seedbay though!
