I think you have to pay for a full membership which unlocks everything instead of waiting until your reach certain post numbers. 50 posts is the start and unlocks your pm's and friends requests. And so forth...I think it's $250 for life or $100 per year. Hope this helps you...

You'd be surprised at how many sign up for no other reason than to flame and troll. All we ask is you try to become part of the community. When was the last time you walked into a room full of strangers and demanded full respect and privileges before saying, "Hi, my names FreezerBoy, how are you?"
We're no different than any other coffee klatch, respect and privileges are earned over time and are commensurate with your actions.
