How do u dry your BUBBLEHASH???

I like to look at it under the microscope before it gets compressed...You get a chance to see what got though...
I found at least with the last 2 runs..the 73 looked like a log jam more trich stems than intact and some contams like broken hairs, tiny veg matter, etc...
The 45 had tons of intact trichs and heads..much cleaner..
The 25 was almost solid trich stems..very clean..
The 45 produced the most, stayed like putty after dried and compressed..the 25 and 73 were much harder..
So I came to the conclusion the trich heads from this strain were too big to pass the 45..making the 45 collection actually better than the 25..
The bond matrix in the missing head 25 & 73 makes it more stiff...
This is just a theory, an observation..but the microscope did seem to back it up..

got a tip too...if u don't have a place to freeze the trim Put water in the bucket just over the screens and then put your trim in and completely cover with ICE without touching for 30min..then go to work..by adding a bit more water and start churning!! ( Got this from TRASH 2 STASH)

I do that too..in my second pic..the trim is under the ice...I was just doing it to get the water temp and trim as cold as possible..before I started..
I refrig the water and fill a bucket with ice..pour the water on the ice..make a 5 gal of ice water...
pour ice water into the screen bucket till it covers all the screens..add ice..then trim...then ice..
and top off with more ice water..then sit for a little while..and go to it..
I keep the ice water bucket around as a chilled water source(gathering trichs on screens, etc.)...
Someone on my BubbleBag thread suggested using a spray bottle with ice water to help corral the trichs...why didn't I think of that..

I like it that way too sometimes...hash balls are fun and photogenic..kind of a self curing package
where the outside gets oxidized but the inside is so good..
I wish I could use the word "jar".."Film case" would be a better word for me..

drying your bubble is definitely EXTREMELY important
seen so many batches ruined

Anyone else here have a problem with the drying screens? I noticed when i used them that alot of bubble stuck to the screen and was a mess, so i stopped using them.

If you notice your bubble is going to stick to the drying screen, just put the screen with hash in the freezer for a bit. Then the frozen chunk of hash will come right off.
