That's why it's done in grams

That's why it's done in grams

I consider 28.6 grams to be an oz. but it's 328 grams which ever you feel makes an oz. :) Perhaps I am just generous as I always make oz's 29-30 grams actually. :) BOG

thanks for the honorable mention BOG, i'd rather have honorable seeds. i remember reading a while back somewhere that you get 5 ozs. off your plants regularly. i figured hell, it's twice as big, it ought to be twice as much...and a little more. great plant honorable grower!!!

Look!! I am not trying to compete with anyone.for all I care you can give a 40 gram ounce! That is your business!! I simply stated the standard for weights and measures. please do not bring me into any pissing contest. I am too old for this kid stuff. I only came here to learn and to help. And FYI. Personally I ......On second thought what I do personally is nobody's business but mine. I am not advertising! are you??

Yeah well I think step growing that I promote allows faster growth. People shouldn't start in big pots and to do what I did here you need 3 transplants to capture the 3 growth spurts that accompany rooting. Unrestricted rooting through the flowering cycle is key and why so many yield less. They are flowering a rootbound plant and that isn't healthy or productive.

Here are 4 more pics I took recently of my Giant... Cheers! :p BOG

First the dried plant on the table...sorry it can't all be seen. :p

Please first accept my apology on the seeds direct thing...I really bugged you too much and you are way to valuable for that. I have been searching in vain for some in depth info about PH in your posts but I can not find any info witrh specifics. Would you please be so kind as to alaborate about PH adjusting the various nutes at application.

Much appreciated

Stvsdrs

PS...MY LSD has already sprouted....soaked em in Alaska startup.........love that stuff...my clones never wilt anymore....

What Soma Taught me

What Soma Taught me

A year ago he stated at the pre-420 party at SeedsDirect that, "in soil your ph range is 6.1-6.6."

You must consider the ph of your water and your water after you add nutes when feeding. In general nutes will decrease ph or increase acidity. Pot plants are acid loving but only to a point.

When mixing a gallon of Earth juice Bloom a couple tablespoons will jerk the ph down to about 4.5 depending on the ph of your water. Some use recirculators to mix and aerate the nute mix for about 24 hours and this reduces the acidity. I do the same by making my gallon of nutes and letting it sit 18-24 hours. Another option is too feed weakly to the point of adjusting ph to about 6.1.

I feed 1-2 times a week and water daily. Since my water is 7.0 ph I find I have little trouble keeping the ph in my pots about right. Without proper ph range your plants cannot get optimal nutrient uptake and if this is the case yields will suffer greatly. Monitor your run off water to check your ph occasionally until you see how you run. Good question stvsdrs. Hope that answers it for you. BOG :)
