I buy only Kosher hotdogs. I'm not Jewish... just don't want all the crappy byproducts and fillers in junk food.

My vote: Grilled with black spots....just like brats.

When biting into the "frankfurter", I prefer a bit of a "crunch"...as opposed to a mushy consistency of a green banana.

Brats...now that is something I can never give up. My buddy called them (he has kids) "adult hotdogs" when he had BBQs. Hotdogs for the kiddies, brats for the adults.

There's a place in the bay area of California called Casper's Hot Dogs. They have a snap to them. Steamed buns Steamed dogs. Old school and cheap. Recommended.
