Im currently using 2 Yieldmaster 2, 6 inch hoods with 2k. My room is 11x11, and will soon be up to 6k. I want to go with bigger hoods, but cant decide between the 3. Any input would be appreciated.

raptors are better then xxl's and i like the design of the bigfoots... i know your not looking for my opinion again though lol
My gurls LLLOOOOOVVVVEEEE their Raptors. Im usin 6 with agrosun super red bulbs in about the same space. flowers out side the hood 8-12 inches still grow strait up not in..Approx 9 plants per light,ave 135grams per,30-45 days. No infromation on bigfoot

nice dude, fucker looks huge next to the yieldmasters! Looks like it will be a tight fit getting three of thoose on the same line.

LOL, there is no way im gonna get three of those in a row! So im thinkin about runnin same setup on next row, 1 raptor, 2 yieldmasters. I got home and installed her, and went to plug her in, only to find that I didnt get the $10 adapter to run her with the cropmaster ballast! Another trip to the grow shop tomorrow I guess.

Hello. Always been a lurker but i have to post on this.. I just bought my 3rd Raptor Friday.. All i can say is WOW.. These hoods are quality and cover a very nice area.. I looked at the Magnum XXXL-8, Bigfoot-8, and Cap-XXXtreme 8.. I must say i am glad i went with the Raptors.. (trying a few different bulbs now.. Digilux, Hortilux, Eiko, Slyvania..) Good luck with your new hood!!

had the hortilux side by side with the agro red.Branch from the hortilux row came over to the red light. That branch's flower was twice the size of its sisters on the same plant.

Late comer to the thread and jumped the gun and bought an XXL.. did I just over pay (220 inc. shipping) or are the others that much better? Where did I go wrong?

That is a good price, but you could have gotten a bigfoot or raptor for around the same price. You went wrong by not doing your research before you made the purchase.

I have 4 XXXL's going right now. They are the bomb. You did not make the wrong purchase. They work just as good as the others.

Thanks MTN.. Unless you are meticuloulsy dialed in ( I am not.. 8-10 plants in organic dirt) I didnt think it would make that much difference.

Youre are right ranger rookie.. I should have.. I go back to OG days and before... was in a situation where old hood had to go and had to get a new one.. Thanks for the advice ranger rookie

Hey nuk I just bought 2 xxxl ochos and they work great. I just replaced 2 vertizontals and am happy to be back to air cooled, the verts worked ok. If i went back to uncooled I would get the adjust a wings.
