What does the Trichomes look like?
I don't have a proper magnifier, but taking a pic and zooming in i cannot detect any amber yet. Milky/clear? Red one:

To me it looks that the Trichs are mostly milky. So 2 Weeks more should be a good timing to harvest.
But, if you want to be safe on that, just buy e small magnifier on Amazon or so. They are pretty cheap and do what they have to do(y)

Cheers, bud! I will proceed with the plan harvesting the left one first thing in new year, and the right one probably 1-2 weeks after by the looks of it. Seems like the flowering time of 12-13 weeks from the website is pretty accurate.

Buds are getting really greasy and sticky now. And heavy! I just set a scrog net in there just to support some of the branches that are falling sideways under the load. 😄 "Yield: high" from ACE's website seems to be quite on the point also. 👍

Super purple cobs!!! I made 8 of these out of my outdoor HonPan this year. A few lucky people will get them as gifts they can’t open until next year, but the majority is for my personal special stash.

Thanks again @dubi for getting such an amazing genetic combo out to us. This cross is truly something special.

Personally I would likely chop the earlier plant, maybe leaving that top cola for another week, but the rest of it looks done to me. I don’t mess around with waiting on amber trichs on some of these Sativas you’ll be waiting around forever way past the prime harvest window imo.

Besides…. The effects are supposed to be more on the clear and energetic side so might as well accentuate that by harvesting accordingly. I will certainly be interested to see what Dubi has to say about it though. 👍

Thank you for your input! Yeah, i personally go more with the overall looks of the plant than trichomes.

I am out of town a couple of days before new year so i cannot observe/control drying conditions at that time, so it would be easier for me to harvest when i am back. But maybe i will harvest couple of braches that look done with no reflowering left, and harvest the rest later. I think they should be stable enough in 10 days to throw them in a tub or jar for a couple of days without fear of mold.

Edit: i just harvested half of the earlier plant, i maybe getting some early samples for christmas present for myself... 😊 I left everything with notable reflowering to mature.

Beautiful buds Stoneroller. First one has mostly brown pistils. You might let them shrink some. However, I think it could be harvested now but the 1st of the year would be great.

The second one has mostly white pistils even though it has perfectly nice milky trichomes. I would wait until the pistils are brown which is probably going to be 1-2 weeks after the 1st like you predict.

You are going to have some nice smoke on your hands.

Cactus that purple cobb is a thing of beauty. Whoever gets one is going to love the gift.

Ive got some for a future grow. You'll probably have a better chance of finding the tasty purple columbian pheno :yummy:
That would be wonderful if I found that one. It'll be a few months before I'm ready to start these, but I didn't want to get to that point and not be able to get them.

When it thaws and doesn't look strange and separated it is probably ok. You might have to shake it. You could call or write the maker.

I would use it if it looked normal. I would also contact maker before tossing it.
