Very creative... this is probably the most professional looking reflector i have seen for 10-15$. I have a 150w econolight hps wired up that needs a reflector, and this will do nicely.

thanks

I bought some old garage parking lights a couple weeks ago, two 175w MH and two 150w HPS. Got them for 10 bucks apiece. Tore them apart, but wasn't sure what to do for a reflector. I'm gonna give this mailbox idea a try, but wonder how or where to put the ballast and capacitor for both the MH and HPS, and of course the ignitor for the HPS. I haven't tried extending the wires on these yet, but I don't think it would be hard. They will be going in an custom built closet (32 X 50 X 85) in an unheated rural NYS basement. The closet (started a couple weeks ago) is almost finished, and I have 4 seedlings under 4' floros right now in a bedroom closet till I finish my grow closet, hopefully this weekend. I plan to run the two HPS with one MH for now.

Grommet idea - an easy way to make "custom" grommets. Get some rubber tubing (like fuel line) that fits your hole tightly, like so tight you gotta screw it in. 3/8 fuel line tubing works great for running a couple wires. Best to buy the tubing first, measure the o.d., drill the hole second!

Keep up the good work!
